Dicey Dungeons is really fun, and it's so hard to do simple maths, great game imo, could recommend if you like the rogue likes which is sort of similar to slay the spire!

I have and enjoy Dicey Dungeons. It takes a while to open up, so in the beginning it mostly feels like going through the motions. Other than that, it was pretty solid. Maybe it changed, since I played it quite a while ago.

Just a note, if your health hits 0 at the same time as the enemy’s, from thorns or Boomerang self damage for example, you don’t die until you enter another fight. You can walk around the world map and even go to the next area if you choose, as long as you get health before you enter a fight you should be fine, I’m not sure about non-combat encounters though, like shops and upgrades, so be careful if you end up in this situation

My technique for choosing which enemy to fight (I fight all of them) is I look at how much health I can possibly gain after the fight. For example, if i level up in two fights and I can choose between an enemy with an apple behind and an enemy with a Chest behind I will choose the apple, however if I level up in one fight I could choose the chest as if I beat the fight my health will already be full

It hurt me that Trump skipped the roll 2 sixes when he had an upgrade on the floor. Makes it cost 5 for 2 sixes, it's super good once upgraded.

How I calculate whether or not to roll again on robot is I look at the amount remaining to jackpot, look at my cards, and count how many “good rolls” there are. For example, if there are 4 slots until jackpot and I have a buster sword, there is no reason not to roll assuming I’ve spent all my other dice, as 1-4 don’t error, and 5-6 are good damage from buster sword

about your “getting frozen is great” comment, there is a fight later on against I think it’s called Yeti, it has a card “requires two 1s, freeze all dice” or “requires doubles, freeze all dice” when upgraded, and it pretty much lets you get the “roll ten 1s in a row” achievement for free, if you want to 100% the game

Ahmet Gırcın there are a lot of different classes you can play, the robots gimmick is the dice jackpot system, but other classes have different ways of playing, as well as each class having different scenarios to play
