I got emotional hearing this brother bring more soul to this song which has been one of my all time favorite songs since the first time I heard Jimi Hendrix play it. Props to you Mr. Harrison.

Hearing City Lights or Be Better for Dungeon Sessions would also be cool. Also love that Dilla Time cameo. Glad the book is getting talked about cause it's great.

I love this way more than his recordings on the album. The other live video of him playing some new shit was also a really good vibe. If he would make an album with these kind of joints recorded with only live instruments we could potentially have a new D'angelo Voodoo type of classic.
@upful_life2 жыл бұрын
he has numerous projects in that pocket. Sons of the James channels that Soulquarian vibe. So does the Nigel Hall album 'Spiritual', both of which DJ has a major hand in. Not to mention Butcher Brown, which would be more on the funkier side of things, but still clearly influenced by the Voodoo World Tour.
@naj_z2 жыл бұрын
@@upful_life Yeah I agree. Butcher Brown is amazing. But is that stuff you are talking about. Is that on stonesthrow or is that only on his bandcamp?
