i actually love the fact that these do not lock together. if they did they would be limited in setups. i use a raised platform on top of my table for maps and then i put a piece of plexiglass over the top so i can write on it with wet erase markers for easier cleanup.

I play gridless and without that option available, I may not buy these, as the grid and the triangles annoy me xD. But they look great. Beautiful. I don’t remember who I learned it from. But here is a nice idea for settig them up. What I put on the table: • Antil slide mat (like the ones they use on car dashboards) • Tiles or flat map elements • A pix custom size clear plastic cutting board. • Finish with 3D Terrain pieces and miniatures Also keeps you things safer from drink spills and oily hands :)

I got All two of the Wilderness boxes. One Old (2004 or 5 I think) and the other Reincarnated. It helps to have both versions since they bother have unique tiles. I think the next one I woyld get is the dungeon. But these are more for set Pieces for certain battles and events. I would certain set it up before hand.

Dave - ive been pulling great maps from the tabletop videogame Pillars of Eternity for digital use, I just load them into photoshop, grid them (i also like to add difficult terrain markers like 4e maps had) and poof, great looking digital maps! CTRL+H removes the interface in that game.

that is a great idea Rob. I alsso commented on the Discord server on your screenshot. They look really good. I was doing the same thing a few years back with Path Of Exile. ;)

Glad I saw your review on these.I was totally going to buy them but now after seeing them I don't think I'll get any of the boxes.they just don't seem useful and you even said you have tons and have never used them lol.Thx man!

Yea Rob, all of the tile sets have been like this since they were put out towards the end of 3.5. I wish they would of put locks on them like the D&D board game tiles. ;) Kind of spoiled me on that. Please feel free to join our Discord community as well. Just click on the link: discord.gg/fr7XVD4

Digital Dungeon Master thanks. If anything I'd try on a small section but I'd probably have to have my hands on them to see the material

These dungeon tiles were just made to drive you completely crazy trying to set up a coherent battle map... it’s just nonsensical. There are essentially two large scenes missing pieces but they aren’t really missing in the set, just poorly designed.

I like them for small rooms, etc. But I am going with the Paizo flip-maps

these aren that great and are way too expensive. they are too much fun to make yourself. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE
