huh...these were some surprisingly decent and normal rolls this session. what a nice change of Pace. i sooo expected a crit fail and a lot bad rolls from lance at least at one point. Good work. nice to see something different every now and then.

I can only imagine a battle snail mount as a large slow moving steam roller. only instead of steel armor and crushing everything flat, its covered in a thick slime that repels attacks and melts anything it runs(?) over.

If the snail moves at about 5 seconds per body length. To make it up to any kind of usable speed (like a war elephant) it would need to be like 50 feet. A 50 feet battle snail... Hm... hopefully the DM doesn't care about upkeep or food or that stuff.

Why was there no Kepler the Fire 'Dalmatian'? How can you have Firefighters without their trusty canine companion? Kepler should have been their to grant them all morale bonuses!!! Sadly never a Firefighter myself, but my Father was a Volunteer Firefighter when I was little, and he trained as the resident EMT. So I did sort of grow up around the Fire House.

I can't wait until you do a Postal workers episode. So many to choose from: Rural Carriers, City carriers, clerks, janitorial, postmaster, heck, even the trucks that go to and from the stations/plant. From rabid little dogs, to Karen's calling every 30 minutes about their mail/package, to accidental misdeliveries... even casing the mail is an adventure.

I live right beside a retired firefighter. One of the coolest and hard working man I know. He has countless stories about overweight people in the 5th floor which needed a way down... Without a elevator. And as much stories he won't tell because he doesn't want these images to come to him every night when he closes his eyes.

I love this! So wanted a firehouse D&D. The only thing you should have added is police blocking hydrants and medical parking a football field away and you have to walk it for rehab. Plus, 12hr shift? I worked a 36 hr rotation myself. Now I have a dark sense of humor and PTSD for it. Thank you for not saying “thank you for your service”
