Coral snakes are not poisonous. They are venomous. Thus you can eat them (less the poison sack). Oddly, the seemingly harmless Garter snake can be poisonous, but is not venomous. Thus eating it can kill while being bitten is harmless. (Other than lots of nasty bacteria of course.)

@@lokithecat7225 Snake venoms are not generally toxic when eaten. They must be injected to kill. A perfectly healthy person can eat/drink them. However, if you have an unknown cut in your mouth, or an ulcer in your stomach, or whatever they could kill you anyway. So, not poisonous -- mostly.

Thanks for going back to these. Many groups have tried to make dnd-related shorts/shows/movies and none are good. These dnd editions are fantastic and I'm glad they are back.
@weezact73 жыл бұрын
I think the key difference is that Mann Shorts doesn't really do jokes about the game itself. Their comedy is, at BEST, loosely tied to TTRPGs in general and even more loosely tied to D&D specifically. There's another channel, which I won't mention by name, that I've really enjoyed which does comedy based on video games that has recently started a D&D series. While I love the channel and the group, their D&D content is...pretty fucking boring because their first 3 D&D videos are just retreading the same tired jokes that have been being made for at least 20 years. It's like the equivalent of making a joke about how you have to press Start to shut down a windows computer (maybe not quite that bad since it's just the logo now, not Start, but you get my point). It wasn't very funny to start with and it's definitely not funnIER now that it's been made a million times. I imagine a lot of the groups you're referencing probably make that same mistake.
@twothumbguy3 жыл бұрын
@@weezact7 the problem is translation. Very few things in dnd relate to anything else, similar to how video game ideas sound great for homebrew but suck once implied. Same concept - it just doesn't translate well. And neither do 40 year old jokes, just as you implied

OK. I'm gonna be that person. Coral snakes really could not bite the arm very well. They do not have fangs like other venomous snakes. They cannot open their mouths all that wide and the rear teeth must pierce the skin to inject venom. I am a hobbyist survival person. Not an expert. 1. The two fire starters he has work fine. Yes he has two on him. The larger one you saw off some of the metal part which is magisium. Form a small pile. Then scrap that saw blade which is not in this video. Across the black part of the block. Hard. It should make a HUGE amount of sparks. Causing a fire that will light even in the rain! The second one is the part he was using too rub on the first one. Which again is the same thing that the first one had on the top part. It is called a Faro rod. The striker needs to be a high carbon steel. 2. She should never have brought a axe to this. She should have brought a large knife. Like a 6 inch long blade that was thick and heavy. Non folding knife. It does all the jobs a axe can do and skin an animal. 3. The cooking pot was the smartest thing in this whole video. I love the jokes.

Actually would love a survival show where the contestants do not get medical help or any other assistance, and the show only ends when the remaining contestant is alive, or dying. I love the show where the contestants then signed a consent waiver, waiving any responsibility of of the production crew or the filming crew of helping or not helping any contestants. I think I'd be really interested in tuning into a show where the contestants could actually die. Especially in the case of Sarah, where she got bitten by a poisonous snake, is probably most likely going to die from the poisoning, if not from the Necro breakdown of her tissue. Of course Lance is probably going to die from blood loss first.
