There's also a substantial amount of fan made adventures and hooks for Ravenloft that were created over the years. Super high quality stuff. In fact a decent chunk of it made it into the canon as some of the fan writers got pulled into making official material, especially during 3rd edition. Most of this stuff has been archived on the Fraternity of Shadows site, and they have a decent sized collection of their own work. I'm talking full on netbooks that could honestly be mistaken for official material at times, done in the style of the official books on topics the official channels never got to. I think they usually release a new one every Halloween. Anybody looking to get more out of Ravenloft could benefit from checking that site out.

If you go to the old Kargatane website, they have the semi-official "Children of the Night: Demons" (www.kargatane.com)

There is an unofficial Children of the Night:Demon. Some good ideas in it. You should also list your favorite modules outside of the Children of the Night series. It would be interesting.

Ill have to check that one out. My list originally just started as a normal list of Ravenloft adventures but then shifted to be about the Children of the Night. Will have to throw out some recommendations amongst the rest of them at some point.

Bought the source book on both Roll20, and in person. Been wanting to play it for such a long time, haven't been able to find a DM to run it. Gave up on wanting to play it, decide I'll run it. Can't get enough players to take it seriously, or even play it properly. I've kinda given up on trying to play it altogether and just have it on my shelf collecting dust. But I love ravenloft so much that I gotta keep getting ready for when I do eventually end up there.

Sometimes thats the only thing we can do. There are so many settings I have wanted to play but ultimately ended up DM-ing instead.

Great video! I love that series too. Can't argue too much with your picks, but you did leave out one of my faves: "Pity the Child" (Ghosts)

Thanks for this. I have an ongoing CoS campaign with a slow burn. I want to litter it with side quests and have been looking at the Children on the Night series as well as the Book of Crypts.

Glad I could help! The Children of the Night Series is perfect for that.

I hope you will make some Eberron videos in the future as there's finally official Eberron book coming out.
@DungeonSmith5 жыл бұрын
Im definitely planning to make some more Eberron content in the future. Anything in particular that would be interesting?
@Janshevik5 жыл бұрын
@@DungeonSmith I had nothing particular in mind, just seeing you making few eberron videos. I like the setting because the scientific approach to magic (especially the elemental powered devices) and a modern mindset of people living there, so you don't have to grab into more medieval mentality as in some other settings.

I have pretty much all the Second Ed Ravenloft material, even the one with a CD! If you like Golems in Gothic Horror, check out Trial of the Beast, in Pathfinder’s Carrion Crown Adventure Path, where the players have to save an intelligent Golem on trial.

"Seepage reminds me a lot of the Curse of Strahd prequel Death House, so if your players enjoyed that, then I think they will like Seepage as well" Me, having vivid memories of how my players were scared shitless during the Death House: Oh they will NOT enjoy this :)

Sounds like it might be just the thing for them then ;)

I just love Azenwrath's design (no wonder they used him in the cover).
