The more I use this scent the more I like it. I appreciate the fact that it's not a very well known fragrance because I don't smell like everyone else when I use it.

He has an azzaro chrome flanker, he has an f by ferragamo black, he has an police pure london, a dunhill pursuit and a zippo original; which one do you think he should buy first (for upcoming fall and winter) : Dunhill Icon or Bentley absolute

I’m a brand new subscriber to your channel though I’ve been watching your videos for the past few weeks. I’m greatly enjoying your very informative and ‘on point’ reviews and I especially appreciate your great sense of humour. My favourite Dunhill is their 1934 release, ‘Dunhill For Men,’ closely followed by the aforementioned ‘Edition’ (1984). As a longtime pipe smoker, I have always loved the Dunhill brand with its timeless evocation of traditional British elegance. Dunhill products are renowned for their uncompromising quality, but it is true that their fragrance releases in the last three decades have been abysmal disappointments. Fortunately, with the introduction of ‘Icon’, it seems that all past sins are forgiven.Thank you for introducing me to ‘Icon’-your review has piqued my curiosity. I am fond of neroli, so I think I will pursue this one. You have the most hilariously inventive intros and I also like the variations on the musical theme. And of course, as always, great review! I think this stuff smells great! Very complex and dry to me, I really get a retro vibe. Never been a Dunhill fan before but this is by far the best I've found by them- hope they do things like shampoo, stick deodorant, and aftershave balm with this. Bravo.

Very entertaining, mate! Well done. My thoughts are spot on with yours. Citrus and woody. I just picked this up as a gift set w a 100ml bottle, 90ml after shave and shower gel, and a 30ml edp travel spray for $38 US. Proper. Let me just say this is a VERY good scent. Very unique and can very well be a signature scent. Most likely won’t be mine, but I do rather enjoy it. Very clean, fresh scent with absolutely NO sweetness. To me that’s a good thing although 2 of my favorites are YSL L’homme and La Nuit, so it’s a nice contrast. This is a very manly, timeless scent. Made for the confident and dapper gentlemen. I would compare this to Chanel blue and Allure sport

Really enjoy your reviews and I get a laugh from each one. Thanks. I had gone off Dunhill as very synthetic in their releases (as you say this century) and avoid them now but will see if I can source this for a sniff!!

This starts off citrusy for me but then begins to smell like Welch’s grape soda after about two hours. BTW - This fragrance lasts about 8 hrs on my skin.

Just found and got shower gel and aftershave balm on ebay. All day while wearing this I kept thinking I'd smelled something very similar recently but couldn't place it, then it came to me --- Terre d' Hermes! Just something similar in overall presentation, but I've always disliked Terre d' Hermes while I love Icon. Side by side it's like Icon is everything Terre tries to be but fails. Really one of the best recent scents I've found.

Great content. You really know what you are talking about, I learn a lot. Also, it seems we have much the same preferances when it comes to styles and fragrance notes. Jeremy Fragrance is a great entertainer, but I can not take serious an expert that has Invictus, Jean Paul Gaultier le male, and ysl la nuit as some of his favorites. Round of with a well ment advice : I would consider changing name of the channel, from a marketing perspective. I'd include your real name, build your personal brand, I'd skip include the word 'smelly' ( a word with negative konotations) I'd drop your birth year (this is not MSN chat anno 2001) But then again, it's your show : do whatever the hell you want 😉

I don't own Terre d'hermes. Dunhill Icon has decent longevity and projection in my opinion. Not amazing but good. That's pretty much the consensus form other reviews too. Hope that helps and thanks for the comment.

Wtf?? I just blind bought this for £37 for 100ml from notino and it’s absolute drek!! I get zero citrus or bright notes and it smells feck all like tdh which is a masterpiece. All I get from this is black pepper and sage and it comes off like some 80’s throwback like Kouros watered down with soapy water it’s absolutely dreadful. Luckily the performance is a joke which saved me having to scrub it. The only thing iconic about this is the faux engine turned bottle. Fragrance 1/10 Presentation 10/10
