Mogao caves have Indian, Greek influences. So those buddha statues are similar to Bahamian buddha statues but these have chinese traditional influences also. So all mixed and very very beautiful 🙏❤️

Hinduism and Buddhism share a philosophical heritage and have just as rich a legacy as each other. I think it's a shame that Buddhist died out in India, but calling one a "trancendental philosophy" and the other "just a religion" is pretty ignorant. It's also interesting that Islam played just as large a role in Buddhism's demise in India as Hinduism did. Many of the areas that were strongly Buddhist influenced or now mostly Muslim (eg. Sindh, West Bengal, and Baltistan). So the assertion that Hinduism replaced Buddhism isn't quite right; both Hinduism and Islam took the place of Buddhism.
