People always say China influenced many Asian countries culturally back then but China is also a country that received influence from others(the west like Persia and old India)due to close business activities and cultural exchange in between the regions. Thank you India and Nepal for creating Buddhism.

Mogao caves have Indian, Greek influences. So those buddha statues are similar to Bahamian buddha statues but these have chinese traditional influences also. So all mixed and very very beautiful 🙏❤️

They didn't. You haven't noticed but that footage has a different resolution and has been put into a frame, as it is taken from some other source, possibly to avoid copyright issues.

If you look like how Chinese studies and does hardwork, you will understand! We also like sports, but in order to get good grades, get into good universities, find good jobs and make our country greater, we have to study all the day besides little sleeping! We sacrifices our beautiful environment into PM2.5, we sell our fucking cheap labor to produce necessities for YOU guys, Americans! We are even wealthier than you think, no matter in substances, or mentally!
@kail97776 жыл бұрын
kind of an oxymoron. communism usually doesn't go with wealth - china is uber capitalist.

You really need to read more about Dunhuang. You are over simplifying things, and not everything in China needs to be associated with communism.

Dunhuang has nothing to do with uyghurs, but then they are still living in altai mountains farming sheep. Your Pan Turkism is not of god's deed.

I wonder how many Chinese believe in Ahimsa or Buddhist teachings. Unfortunately hardly some. While Indians by and large are vegetarians.
@Rose_wu273 жыл бұрын
Through out the history, China has always been a Buddhism country or taoism. Due to last century history, China has now become an official atheist country. But buddhism still has a great impart of the chinese culture...

Buddhism had long been cherished by Chinese and other east Asians. Sadly, in India the birth place of historical Buddha, Buddhism, a transcendental philosophy, has been eclipsed by Hinduism, a religion.
@12SPASTIC123 жыл бұрын
@@maxdc988 @Max DC All your comment shows is that you don't know nearly enough about Hinduism to put it down like that. Hinduism and Buddhism share a philosophical heritage and have just as rich a legacy as each other. I think it's a shame that Buddhist died out in India, but calling one a "trancendental philosophy" and the other "just a religion" is pretty ignorant. It's also interesting that Islam played just as large a role in Buddhism's demise in India as Hinduism did. Many of the areas that were strongly Buddhist influenced or now mostly Muslim (eg. Sindh, West Bengal, and Baltistan). So the assertion that Hinduism replaced Buddhism isn't quite right; both Hinduism and Islam took the place of Buddhism.
@Kokowangmini3 жыл бұрын
Omg are you all alright. Buddhism is preserved in India. My mom is a Buddhist and dad is hindu. Actually both are exactly the same. And coming to the point ,if you are saying that buddhism is not preserved in india then I think you should check out cities like Gaya in bihar,vishakapatnam in AP, sanchi in MP. Also ellora caves in maharashtra, sarnath, Mahabodhi temple( it is a UNESCO world heritage site). I'm not here to offend or hurt anyone, I just think that you all don't know about these things. So, plz don't just write anything without knowing...
