Amazing vlog !!! I too visited Bangus on 30th of June, 2021 but I came to this place from Handwara route. The people which you came across on the way to Bangus from Chowkibal are basically Paharies. Mostly the people perceive that the people living in such distant places are Gujjars & Bakerwals but this is not the only truth. The Paharies are a tribe who move seasonally from their winter settlements to these high mountain meadows called margs alongwith their livestock and spend 03-05 months during the summers and rains. It is an ethnic group that makes 65% of population in twin Distts of Rajouri & Poonch whereas a considerable population of Paharies lives in Baramullah and Kupwara Distts of J&K. So Paharies, Gujjars and Bakerwals share a common culture in these areas. The only difference is language. Paharies speak Pahri langua whereas Gujjar & Bakerwals speak Gojri.
