The only Hero whose three films were without a heroine opposite him as a lover. Films were Anand, Bawarchi, and Itefaaq..the third film didn't had any songs too. Still all three films were super hits.

RD could modulate his voice. Secondly most of the music had to be played live, the loudness of each instruments had to be adjusted by adjusting the distance from the mikes. One mistake by any of the performers, singers or musicians and the whole thing had to be done all over again
