Dunkeld Trails - Craiglush to Loch Ordie

This is the first video guide showing a couple of runs in early December 2023. It was dry but bitterly cold reaching -8 or so up on the hill. The run goes from Craiglush Loch to Mill Dam, then to Loch Ordie. On the return we go over the high Ordie path back to Mill Dam and then return to Craiglush. Not everything exactly went to plan!

Hi there, nice video guide! Love the area and often MTBiking in there. Know the route but it was good to see the route/snow situation etc. Did you know when you coming back via high route you can turn left at certain point for a short [but steep] detour to Lochan na Beinne. It's a lovely wee spot and you can hide the bike in there and carry on walking up Deuchary hill from there, highest hill in area with some lovely views🙂

Thanks for the comment, appreciated :) I've tried the Deuchary path before, although I didn't quite manage to make the summit, I'm just not skilled enough as the path gets steeper and narrower. I do intend to do a wee video at some point when it warms up a bit showing that path. Lochan na Beinne is just beautiful.

@@OotnAbootFerAScoot I think they recently improved that path going up to Lochan. It's good track now. Not cyclable up to Deuchery summit from Lochan though.

Great track, super scenery " but the camera" you"d get better clarity from a head below the blanket one from the 1800"s,,

Aye, you're absolutely right. This was how I edited and compressed the video, and I didn't keep the original files :/. The later videos have come out a lot better, thankfully.
