I've always wanted to try dipping donuts in coffee but I cant get a genuine experience if I don't like the drinks or if I don't like the donuts If Krispy Kremes coffee is actually that bad, then that's bad because what if I want coffee and donuts, I can't have that anymore because the coffee is bad. Where I live at least, DD's have too little glaze on them and too much dough (the dough is not even that tasty) where KK's are balanced imo (+ the dough is great). Although if I prioritize the price then I'll settle for DD's, again not sure if it's only where I live but DD's are a lot cheaper than KK's here so there's not much to complain about.

As someone who really dislikes coffee, the fact it was such a huge swing and the deciding factor is unacceptable. If you, like me, nullify the coffee round, the score is 67 to 71. For only one item to be The Deciding Factor either way, when the other place has perfect or near perfect offerings on the main product, that is, doughnuts, or donuts if you prefer, is just nonsense.

Listen if we are talking strictly donuts, Krispy Kreme wins by a mile, but dunkin has some pretty good coffee that is cheaper than starbucks and imo tastes better than starbucks

Very interesting. It seems that the preferable donut (yes, that's how I spell it) place depends on what you're looking for. Want coffee with your donuts? Dunkin' is your place. Want a dozen standard glazed donuts? Krispy Kreme is where it's at. Want a glazed chocolate cake donut? Dunkin'. Want jelly filled? Krispy Kreme.

I knew beforehand that if coffee was included Krispy Kreme would loose, people think Link needs his scale, but no the Krispy Kreme coffee is just that bad. They really just shouldn’t have included it for an accurate rating. (Also not included doughnut holes / munchkins saddens me)

Ya I think Link's scoring was fairly accurate. For the most part his scores were close to Rhett's. The coffee skewed the whole thing! There was a 10 point difference and the only reason Krispy Kreme even got the 2 was cause of Rhett. They lost by 6 so that 10 point difference meant a lot. I don't get why they included coffee in a doughnut taste test. If they wanted coffee it should have been Dunkin VS Starbucks.

I’m not sure I’ve ever had a very pleasant experience with donuts from Dunkin. They always seem to be dry and/or stale. Although, I do agree with y’all that Dunkin’s coffee is way better. As a North Carolina boy, Krispy Kreme will always be my go-to!

I have never had a good donut from dunkin. I would also never order the chocolate cake thing though which is apparently the one donut they actually do well. I don't think I've ever had a bad krispy kreme. Even their new oreo ones that I thought were not great despite my usual love of cookies and cream flavored food, it was still good and fresh, and the glazed or creme filled I usually get are always top notch
