@@artisticdinosaur4194 yes for fish like ancient salmon and sharks not for an armored fish you and mega dinosaur both fail to realize how strong the dunkelos armor really is it was inches thick the spino could not of done anything to it also how the heck is a spino going to slash hard enough to do damage under water have you even punched under water your hand doesn’t go very far and not very fast because water is very difficult to move so the spino couldn’t really slash the dunkleo like it did in the video the only thing the spino had going for it was it being more intelligent size doesn’t mean anything if you can bite hard enough to do damage it’s like a alligator snapping turtle vs a barracuda That’s a very accurate analogy btw actually About the same size comparison the dunkleo (30ft) was about half the size of the spino (50ft) and the turtle (3ft) is about half the size of the barra (5ft) also the turtle has a strong bite and armor like the dunkleo and the barracuda has the size and speed of the spino So with all of that information here’s how the fight would really go… The dunkleo swims over to a dead fish floating in the water the spinosaurus had the same idea and they meet each other at the fish the spinosaurus tries to intimidate the dunkleo with its larger body but the stupid dunkleo doesn’t get scared and attacks the spino the spino bites the dunkleo but doesn’t do much damage only a minor scratch the dunkleo bites the spinos arm clean off with its powerful bite and scares the spino away game over. That’s what would really happen the thing about it is the spino just can’t do really anything to the dunkleo while the dunkleo can easily bite the spinos arm off or take a good chunk out of the spino because of how insanely strong the dunkleos bite was and once again using the analogy the barracuda isn’t gonna do anything to the alligator snapping turtles armor even though it’s larger but the turtle will take a huge bite out of the barracuda with ease Just the facts if you don’t believe me then you don’t believe easy logic

Hmmm severely small ? Well there are multiple flaws in ur argument, dunkleosteus’s bite was enough to take down animals of its size, or larger. Dunkleosteus is basically an orca with 3-4cm thick bone armour covering about 15-25% of its body, it would’ve been pretty hard for Spinosaurus to take down something with such strength. Its bone pricing bite, and it’s manoeuvrability would’ve made it a formidable match, probably even giving it more advantages in deep water. So If the water was deep enough for dunkleosteus to properly move, then dunkleosteus has a high chance of winning, considering how much more efficient it is underwater Omg this comment it getting too long lmao

Honestly this battle is really hard to define a winner, although dunkleosteus is much more experienced in the water, he would be much heavier due to the plates (which would be a good defense), that would be a losing battle for Dunkleosteus against a livyatan or a megalodon, but he has a very primitive view, it has a much stronger bite, literally guillotines, it’s really hard to imagine a winner, a well adapted but primitive fish, and the other a limited dinosaur in the water but well developed, and besides, you forgot that spinosaurus is still an animal that needs to go to the surface to breathe, a cruel disadvantage against dunkleosteus, well adapted to the water, it's a well-balanced battle, I really couldn't say which winner, but I choose dunkleosteus.

I have the perfect under water battle, it’s (original) mossaurus vs............ Fishy saurus, just kidding its a T.rex (in gen modified) Rexy. I said T.rex because there’s a deleted scene of a swimming T.rex in Jurassic park And this is probably stupid for a T.rex to fight a sea monster.

@@goatrex9195 A juvenile Spinosaurus could've been even smaller than 2 metres in length , how large a juvenile Spinosaurus could've been at max before being considered a sub adult is speculative but if I had to assume , I'll say around 4 or 5 metres in length , an adult Suchomimus is easily MUCH larger than a juvenile Spinosaurus .

@@wyrmphgaming7598 Sub adult sounds comparatively better . The sub adult specimen which provided the tail specimen for the new look of Spinosaurus in 2020 , was about 11 metres long and weighed in at 3800 kgs , that's in the same weight range Suchomimus .

It’s actually not even fair. Dunkleosteus isn’t equipped to fight anything as big as itself, much less something several times bigger, whereas Spinosaurus was virtually a dinosaur/crocodile hybrid, big animals are practically its specialty. As Dunkleosteus would likely have inhabited deeper waters and preyed on armored invertebrates and placoderms, its armored frame meant it was likely a slow predator. Its lack of speed would have been even better for the Spinosaurus, as it had a body structure indicating it was a very good swimmer. A fight between the two would likely see the Spinosaurus wrap its huge jaws around the fish at which point the Dunkle wouldn’t be able to wriggle out of its crocodile-like jaws designed for grappling prey. I don’t even think the Dunke could mechanically open its jaws wide enough to nab anything but a toe or claw if the Spino wasn’t careful, which the vastly more intelligent dinosaur would have been. Some matchups I don’t think the Spinosaurus would fare well against are Megalodon, large Mosasaurs and Pliosaurs, predatory whales like Orcas, Basilosaurus and Livyatan, supercrocs like Sarcosuchus, Purussaurus and Deinosuchus or even an ichthyosaur like Cymbospondylus.
