One thing most have not discovered is that if you keep volume knob pressed, the red light starts blinking, sounds very warped. When light is blinking you can press once to go back to red, and once again to turn off. I wonder why no one demos that, I dont think most realize it that Option, I've only seen the one person demo that. Lol.

@@liquid7315 blinking red means you are setting the age level, red means age is on. Most reviews and this one address it I believe. Maybe not very well.

@@liquid7315 Forgot - so after you set the age level while led is red and blinking, once you press the center knob again, it stores your age level/knob position, and at that time the red light is again solid and the center knob now reverts back to its normal delay level function purpose ( red= age still on). Press it once more and age is now off and led is white. I cant remember how it knows not to revert your delay level to the 'age level' position you would have needed to move to set age level but I tjink it does.

There is no real reason to build two pedals. One is better. Period.

Just J own the echoplex delay and use it with xotic ep booster. It would be better if they put the preamp cuircuit switchable in the box too. But so they have two boxes. Marketing. Bad for clients. Don't buy a pedal alone with only one transistor stage in it. Never ever.

The thing I hate about the "age" setting is why not just label it as what it is... i.e. a EQ setting. It's a gimmick when pedals have warble settings, and age settings. Just label them as Chorus and EQ for gods sake. And quit with the marketing.

The preamp is used most of the time without the delay. I have used both since release, I have never used them next to each other though. And they did include a digital preamp (always on) in the delay pedal, but it is only engaged when the delay is on. This was per a conversation I had with their tech guy.
