People like Niel talk nonsense and pseudoscience which attracts viewers. Also we will never be "creators" of universes with characters with free will as he puts it. The only thing we might be able to do is trick ourselves into believing these characters are real. If you read some of Heisenbergs works you'd understand it. We have no way of proving, scientifically speaking, that anything exists in the form of matter until we measure it. So the computer and the program and the virtual characters are only there when we measure them (look at them, hear them etc), and when we don't, they don't exist in the form of matter, just like a rock or a tree, or an electron or atoms from which all matter is made. Allah knows best.

Salam. Living in a simulation, is definitely a human made concept. This is why. Humans, are the ones who created, the concept of we being in a simulated world, but this is not true. Let me give you an example. Which one of these two do you agree with A: that we are controlled by the computer and we have no free will B: we have free will, and there could be a change in the universe which could have let us to not make computers, and robots. If you agree with ‘B’, then this means that computer simulation is a man made concept. And if you choose ‘A’, then what are the proofs that we are controlled? 2. If now you believe that the Quran says we live in a delusion, just as we live in a simulation, then really, you’re trying to put words in our mouths. Because, if you believe that the Quran makes a statement, that we live in delusion, and you think that this simulation is delusional, then how do you believe some parts of the Quran and some not? Why don’t you believe that you’ll be brought back up again? There’s this scientific research that shows we are going to be resurrected again, and the Quran says that. So you’re going to believe in that but not in hellfire and paradise?

Does Islam believes Simulation Theory.
@WestDawnMedia2 жыл бұрын
No. Muslims don’t believe in the Simulation Hypothesis. There is an Islamic belief that does parallel some of issues Simulation Theory raises. Check out the full documentary to find out more. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nnvTfIN8nqdpopo
