I came to the UK as an undergraduate, did my bachelor, and got a job straight away. later got the opportunity to interact with some people who asked me to invest in a company that they owned, the bank grant me a loan and I started my own business. I had ideas and the business started booming now I have a chain of food businesses and real estate in different cities, got my own house and car. brought my family to the UK. I had £500 pounds in my pocket when I left Pakistan and Alhamdulillah I'm doing very well. when I look back I would not have accomplished all this back home due to the system. only Malik Riaz-type people prosper in Pakistan who openly admits that he uses the money to influence the system. In 2019 he handed over £190 million pounds to the British government just because he couldn't prove it was legit money just imagine what our politicians and generals may be doing.

The major reason of leaving Pakistan is the very high prices of houses and apartments. Salaries are around Rs 150,000. Expenses are at Rs 200,000. No savings whatever you do. Minimum 5 marla house price in a reasonable area is 1.6 crore. How anyone would buy this? There is no point of living in Pakistan now. It's a failed country, I am sorry to say. If we cannot buy a decent house, maintain decent living, send kids to a decent school with all the master degrees, grades and competence and even after working in a multinationals then it's better to leave Pakistan forever.

Another over thinking sudo self proclaimed champion...brother i moved abroad in 2000..studied worked ..have successfull business..hold foreign passport ..but eventualy moved back to pakistan..the exposure you get from west or us is not something you can ever get in pakistan..there are 101 smart more smarter people in pakistan then me.. but many wont have the same exposure due to envoirement.. and as i said samart brain who move abroad also have equal smart siblings living in pakistan...800k people going abroad can potentialy send billioms of USD every year.. india received 100bn usd..and UK US CANADA is receivjng massive numbers of indians.. thsi only help country grow by exploring new opportunities and making strong ties back home.. not sure where your ideas come from ..but we need foreign resevers and dollars not overly growing population and unemployment...so called smart brain would eventualy rott and become a burdon on country if not moved abroad

Majority of the people that leave for permanence stop sending remittances in 3-5 years because they move their entire families. Remittances are mostly sent by people going to the ME or GCC countries
