Exquisite, gentle, expressive playing. I am melting, in a good way, into the lyrical music. Well… now they are getting more dramatic and assertive, still my brain is enjoying it all, and then the music is back to soothing. I love Popper’s musicality, very challenging to play, but you learn a great deal about your abilities and your instrument when you get out his sheet music and begin to play.
