Duo Nex Teaching Stream (Melee) OSRS

Nex is still the best money in the game to this day, and most profitable in a duo! My teaching stream discusses resets, positioning and timing to keep your melee uptime to a maximum. Bare minimum gear is Fang/ACB/Karil's so even with a low bank value nex is still doable, it's going to be very challenging though. I consider duo Nex the most difficult PVM encounter outside of raids/inferno so expect some difficulty if trying to learn, but it's well worth it! Absolute max GP/HR is around 20m currently with max efficiency, not too bad for money making.

This isn't a standard 'guide' But if you pay attention, and practice and watch the video a few times after trying. It all clicks, what you need to do, how to do things etc. It's actually perfect for learning duo nex. I recommend his other video for standard mechanics (mass/group nex), but this one is actually so useful, but only if you use it properly. Thanks gnomonkey. I'm currently rolling duo nex with my boy.

radius marker plugin, enter nex's id:11,278 in it. Turn the bottom 'melee' to 'range', then change the number behind it from '1' to '10''

Is Justicar viable for melee p2? According to my calcs, its 10% less dps than torva but allows for tanking melee p2 and provides damage reduction for Nex's non-typeless damage.

You're not going for 2 kills in a duo/trio so you dont need the extra tankiness, best to maximise dps

@@noname1247 tbh mp2 duo/trios is the sweatiest nex you can do, might struggle finding teams with justi, if you're in a budget setup then range only 5-6 mans is much easier

I do mp2 in a neit faceguard as well as masori (f) body and legs and it works fine. I'm saving up for torva right now just make sure whoever is aggro'd just steps under nex during mp2

nice vid, im pretty sure the reavers do not heal the boss X3 or any X at all, which is honestly stupid, i believe it should since they come out and nex is invincible the first 4 seconds. The only time that's saved is as soon as the reavers come out you can get 1 reaver hit by the time you can hit nex again but i do 2 hits since reavers are less def than nex.

BoFA is worst than Rune crossbow, you don't use it at Nex. Also, I do have a duo budget guide that uses Karil's and ACB.

You don't even wait for umbra to cast black hole to skip a reaver phase and you don't walk under before a special ex: Ice cage or reaver spawn - nex will jump and do another normal attack before the special. You can infinitely stall a special attack. These are actual metas.

60-150 guaranteed damage with 100% spec vs 110 not guaranteed damage with 75% spec. Its very very good there just because it never misses, nex is tanky

Zcb spec is 60% chance to hit on nex in masori bucker when voidwaker is 100% chance to hit

ZCB spec is better for speedrunning as if it hits it is better than Voidwaker, however for money making you want fastest consistent time so Voidwaker is better. IIRC ranged in general is better for Nex speedruns in general - even tbow full ranging because it can just hit so darn high if it hits, although highly inaccurate.

Your gp/hr is off though, as you cannot consistently do this for 8h a day, calc your hours afterwards and have the gp/hr you say you get. CoX 4+1's ran efficiently with 3 people on your team prescouting on 2 alts each, so 6 accounts scouting, whilst you do the raid and then have the 4th person alt prep the raid and every raid has to be crabs/rope and with the current gear you'll clear out 4.25-4.5 raids/hr. This is still the best gp/hr but the method has died out.
