this was probably my favorite Duocon from all of them, just seeing how far this app came, from a language learning app, to now a language, math, and music learning app, the new updates on Duolingo like on the AI, the patterns, and the app itself is very interesting, and I love how the app just keeps getting better and cooler by every year, I love some of these stories from people all around the world and I also really love the teams work on the animations, especially in the opening, it was really funny and fantastic!!! Seriously, this was such a great and fun Duocon, everyone on the team did a fantastic job this year, and this just makes me so excited on what's going to be announced on next years Duocon!!!

Why does android (and desktop) feel so neglected by Duolingo? When will the music course come to android / desktop? I hope more language courses reach a similar level like the Spanish for English speakers course one day (= unfortunately Spanish for German speakers is way less extensive). Some courses are extremely short compared to others. Besides that: a good app and promising announcements for its future development 👍

Yeaaah I’m doing Spanish for English learners and the course keeps getting extended, and extended, and extended. I’ve been attempting to “just finish it” for 4.5 years and if they stopped extending it now it would still take me over another whole year to finish the final stage. But they will. So be careful what you wish for!

It would be great that updating the music in duolingo was a complement to learning the language, so that in the learning route songs are recommended in the language we are learning and that we can sing them and thus learn vocabulary and have fun doing it, I have heard that Learning songs in English helps your learning a lot and I would love for Duo to allow you to do this.

One kind request from myself to Duolingo app team…. Coming from India.. we have a lot of languages that are spoken.. I can see that only Hindi and Telugu courses are available… I would very much appreciate if you add Tamil(the oldest and richest language in the world) and also Kannada (my mother tongue which is widely spoken in Karnataka)… and Malayalam too which is spoken in the state called Kerala!! I wish the devs give more attention to the finnish course, I'm still in the first section but I've seen people complaining that it only has 2 sections and the course is too short, you can't learn much from it and it's useless when it comes to teach you to have a conversation, and I agree with that,the things we learn in finnish on duolingo are not usefull at all to talk in finnish, you don't learn the basic conversation nor useful sentences to interact with anyone, all you learn is a bunch of words but you don't learn how to put them together and why, nothing that helps you to talk to someone. So please, give more attention to finnish, oh and another VERY IMPORTANT thing, duolingo only teaches the formal way of the finnish language, it doesn't teach the spoken language, no one in Finland speak in the formal way,no one, and the spoken finnish is COMPLETELY different from the finnish that duolingo teaches, so please, add the spoken finnish in the couse too and not just the formal finnish, cause as far as I've seen in many comments the finns laugh of those who speak in the formal way cause NO ONE in Finland speak like that. So please, please give more attention and importance to the finnish course and make it bigger and more complete.

PLEASE go back to typing in the answers rather than selecting tiles with words on. It adds so much to the learning experience. Typing the answer makes you reach for the correct words to use, rather than picking them out from the tiles. That aids memory. It is very important to reach for the words in your head rather than have then just sitting there for you to select (which is completely unnatural).
