For those of you who are unable to read the annotation at 13:44, there was an update on the Jacob Wetterling case that we cover at the end of our second disappearances video found here: goo.gl/MnMKqK Unfortunately for those hopeful that Jacob was still alive, The remains of Jacob Wetterling were found in September last year, 27 years after he was abducted and declared missing. Danny Heinrich led officials to Wetterling’s remains as part of a plea deal and admitted to kidnapping and killing Jacob. Our hearts go out to his parents who held out hope for so long.

I know it doesn’t change the horrific nature of Jacob’s story but in the interest of clarity, he wasn’t renting the movie Tom Thumb. Tom Thumb was the name of the gas station that they went to. It is now a veterinarian office but a lot of us who grew up there rented from that place all the time.

You always want to hold out hope that they're still alive bevause nobody really believes that will happen to them or someone they care about. Especially them being murdered because this world has become a terrible place.

@@laureldunn3278 its really sad because so many people were holding out hope that he was alive. It was such a different and simple time back then. Like something you'd read about in a book today. The confession from the murderer is especially depressing and heart breaking because the absolute worst case scenario did happen. I can only imagine what the other kids who were with wetterling must feel like today, knowing that it could have very well been them. He arbitrarily picked Jacob and told the others to leave. It's a very sad story... makes me sick and sad every time I think about it

@@laureldunn3278 not has become, always has been. Psychologists, psychiatrists, and anthropologists agree that even if you consider the world being populated with the maximum number of serial killers and pedophiles that could possibly be operating out there, that there are tens of thousands too many children that have gone missing to account for. That is because what was whispered in the 60s and 70s, spread by all the aluminum foil hat wearing conspiracy nut jobs in the 80s and 90s, depicted in movies for the world to see since 2000, and some of the most popular conversation topics from 2010 til the present are all things that are sadly true and have been for centuries if not millennia. That the elite sacrifice, cannibalize, and enslave children for satanic, luciferian, demonic, molechian rituals, for their widespread adrenochrome addiction, for sex, etc. All of Hollywood, the super rich, bankers, so-called musicians, politicians, judges, police chief's, they are all involved in one or a combination of these things which the masonic lines, 13families and alien RH negative DNA lines have passed along from one generation to the next.

I was trying to say that 13 have been found dead, all years after their disappearances. Apologies that I didn't find a more elegant way of putting it.

I remember going through the woods with my cousins every summer down fields miles from our grandparent house down to the river,up back roads & everything, we'd be gone all day & never once did we think it was dangerous. A man did stop once in a back road in a jeep and just stared at us but we ran to think anything could of happened is scary. I have two small kids now & I'd never let them out of my sight like I did when I was younger.

Jacob Wetterling's body was located and found in Aug 2016. Suspect over the past 26 years, Danny Hienrich confessed to the kidnapping, sexual abuse, and murdering Jacob with a gun shot to his head. He buried the boy on a local area farm. He moved the body once a year later. We in Minnesota are heartbroken for his family.

The photo you picked for Northern Ireland, it's unbelievable because the house I grew up in is in that picture. It's the strangest thing I've ever seen. When you said Northern Ireland, I was thinking to myself "That's a first, the country I live in is in a countdown video" I watch these a lot and it's very rare to hear N.Ireland. Then the photo came up, at first I was thinking, "That kinda looks like my old estate I lived in" then I realised it is 2 separate photos photoshopped together and it actually is where I grew up. I can see my old home but it's not only the roof but still, what are the chances?

Brandon’s case: I really believe that Brandon made the first initial phone call but when the operator spoke the second time, it was actually Brandon saying “yeah” and someone else requesting the police. The voices are completely different. Brandon was also out of breathe the first call and you’d think that someone been chased wouldn’t all of a sudden find composure. Strange

I once disappeared for a whole week with zero recollection of ever going missing, i was 15 at the time walking home, got home and everyone was like where the hell have you been i was like walking home they are like for a week? i thought they were joking, other than it being late, i couldnt tell them where i had been because i had simply walked 10 miles from one town in ireland to the next. For me i remember most of the journey nothing unusual happened other than on my arrival instead of the few hours i experienced they said a week had passed, and it was the next day i found out they were no joking, everyone was like wtf. I have to this day 40 years later no explanation other than i walked home, did not stop, covered 10 miles. as it took some hours the day faded into evening and then i arrived home quite late. i didnt experience multiple days etc.

This lady I Used to Know told me of a story of her sister walking down the nature trail and they heard a girl crying and up ahead they could barely see the girl sitting by a tree as they got closer the girl went further behind the tree and when they got to the tree there was no one to be found. They called the police and they searched the whole area but no one was found and the lady said there is no way they wouldn't be able to see her walk away from that tree because it was the one and only tree out in the open. The cops literally even looked up in the tree thinking maybe she climbed the tree. Later they found out from an old-timer that a young girl back in the day was run over by a train in that area when the tracks used to run through there and the parents of the little girl planted that tree in memory of her. Tell me that isn't spooky

Number 9 - so, you are telling me, that a young girl was walking home alone at 4am, and goes missing, and 1 mile from her home, she is being stalked by a grown man. "police are convinced this is not the suspect" - Maybe you should try again, vodka police.

I suspect the man in the video myself and it puzzles me that they are so sure he had nothing to do with Iwona's disappearance. He actually seems to stagger a bit (as if he's been drinking) if you look closely and I think Iwona is walking rather quickly but not running. I am a woman and I've been followed by men a few times when I was alone. My instincts screamed at me to act normal and walk quicker but as normally as possible so as not to alert my stalker that I was onto him. Women seem to instinctively know that once the guy realizes you know he's after you he needs to take immediate action or you might escape. Just writing this makes me angry.
@schweineloeffel710
@schweineloeffel710 6 жыл бұрын
Forgot to say that I pointed out how women try to act normal when being stalked because I suspect that's why the investigators (who are possibly all male) don't believe this man was stalking Iwona. I also think it's possible this guy was out drinking in the same place as Iwona and saw her leave alone so he followed her.

You are talking about ANOTHER case. This one has not been solved, and some things are still being undertaken to find her. As for the man who was following her, as far as I know he came forward to the police and was interrogated and only after that police said they exclude him as a suspect. So my dear Genious Couch Investigators, ('Random Guy', 'Schweineloeffel'), have some respect for 'vodka police' and try to think realistically about your own intellectual capabilities.

I have a cousin who has been missing for 26 years now. She disappeared like these people in the video but more eerily. Nothing was out of order. Nothing was missing. In fact, there were no fingerprints of hers anywhere. She just...disappeared. Like she never existed and 18 years worth of belongings and organized in her way were setup as if a ghost did it. We've never heard from here again, the case is unsolved, and there are absolutely no clues. Never were any. I can assure you she's not sitting somewhere watching videos like these and neither are the people in this video.

Bernie & Bugz - yeah. 2 were killed and did not get out. The other 4 children's bodies were never found. So I think they did not come back back because they were abused. They could have still started the fire, but maybe some of the kids were left to get out on their own and the surviving kids didn't realize some never made it until they waited at a rendezvous place and realized everyone was not there.
@CarmenxSullivan
@CarmenxSullivan 5 жыл бұрын
@@knowledgetracker ahh I see what you mean, and yeah with so many of them some would be bound to get stuck due to fires unpredictable nature. Interesting theory, that story always stumped me when ever I came across it. How about the other weird details like the fire service not responding till hours (I believe) later? That's another odd point and the chap threatening them before it all happened? Such a strange story
@knowledgetracker
@knowledgetracker 5 жыл бұрын
Bernie & Bugz - yeah, I didn't think about them not responding for such a long time. I had to go back and see that part again. Could it be that some adults with the fire rescue team helped these kids plan this to get them out? That is, someone in the fire rescue knew they were being abused? So they let the fire rage for a while to distract everyone? If so, I can imagine they would be devastated about the two who didn't make it. As far as the guy threatening them...hmmm...I need to ponder that. I need to look up another story similar to this and put it here.

I don’t think they did it. Ya they were probably abused but the part of them starting the fire is unlikely and is a stupid theory! First of all they were all younger than 10 so they would probably be scared of fire.

The Wetterling case is so incredibly heartbreaking. There was so much evidence pointing to the man who confessed to it 27 years later that was missed or dismissed by law enforcement. There was even a very small opportunity to save Jacob altogether, as there had been a police car that drove past moments before Jacob was murdered. This case should have been solved within a few months but for some reason, law enforcement decided not to do their job.

I am aware that Jacob Wetterling's remains have been located. I have lived in the area of the Wetterlings since 1994 and at one point Dr. Wetterling was my chiropractor. If the clip about Jacob is to be reused, there is an inaccuracy that should be fixed in the video: The clip stated Jacob, his brother and his friend were returning from visiting a convenience store to rent “Tom Thumb”. They rented a movie FROM “Tom Thumb”, which was a local chain of convenience stores/gas stations in the area at that time. The Tom Thumb convenience store which Jacob, his brother and his friend were returning from is about a mile away from the Wetterling Home.

I've said it before, Brandon Lawson's case is incredibly infuriating because I seriously feel like the 911 call that was released to the public after his disappearence was altered. If you listen to it's entirety with headphones you can hear certain words have been sped up, cut off and even volume seems like it goes up and down. I honestly think the reason he was so adamant about getting in touch with police (while he was seemingly evading them during the 911 call) is because he came across a situation that would put him in a great deal of trouble and he needed cops to witness whatever nefarious activity was taking place. Also, I believe a short time later he realized the cops were "in" on it and he lost his life on account of whatever he had witnessed.

I pray that one day you find them and that there is closure

I have a feeling that the Brandon Lawson case has something to do with some sort of love triangle. I have feeling him and his girlfriend were fighting about their relationship and he stormed away upset then his girlfreind called someone or people she knew or was involved with and told them something that made them want to hurt Lawson and which they eventually did. because someone had to know the car he was driving and also it's very unlikely that random people would chase a total stranger in the woods and kill them if it was strangers they most likely would have subdued Lawson then killed him keeping it very very quiet. it just seems that the killing of Lawson was a spur of the moment thing not planned out and was purely driven by anger which going back to the fight with his girlfreind shows the possible source of such anger.

violetstorm117 foul play is the most plausable senario for a lot of these well and some of them were people who just lost their way these two senarios are the most plausale in swansons case I assume that some cases could be staged senarios where the person wanted to disappear

I’ll always remember when I moved to Bloomington, Indiana. June of 2011, that month a girl went missing. We moved into that town with everyone going crazy looking for Lauren Spierer. She disappeared one night, and hasn’t been found for atleast 8 years now. To this day I wonder if they will ever find her.

It isn't that unusual for a child/teenager to have a bank account. It was probably just a savings account.

Amy Lee: I had a bank account when I was 10 yr old. I used to put the money I made from blueberry picking in it and what I would get from allowance. By 4th grade I was making good money in the summer picking veggies and was able to start buying my own school clothes. It helped me learn the meaning of a dollar, unlike kids today!! I'm glad my parents taught me at such a young age. Not watched the video yet, so I don't know how old the kid is, but my stepson had an account when he was 6 yr old; I opened one up for him. He was able to go to college with what we were able to save and put in it over the years.

My great grandmother's brother disappeared around 1920. Their lives were literally a huge string of unfortunate events leading up to him running away at the age of 13 or 14. He jumped a boxcar and was never heard from again. Someone rode down the rails looking for him when they realized he had gone but couldn't find him.

The William Tyrell case haunts me because my son was the same age at the time, looked a lot like him AND has a Spiderman costume that he often insisted on wearing. I was on business a long way from home when I first saw the news reports on him and for a few seconds I was convinced it was my son. Scariest 5 seconds of my entire life.
