50/50 widow is like the hero I've noticed the entire enemy team 50% of the teams counter swap me, and she is so vulnerable but people say they "hate widow players" when they are one of the most bullied heroes in the game next to genji lmao.

Duos or trio queuing is what saves my sanity when I started getting really burnt out on other games (destiny 2 and cod) but queuing games like overwatch or fortnite or playing baldurs gate just takes any and all frustration out because the fun and banter out way any negative gripes I may have about the game

Honestly that's what being a top tank player will do to you. You're forced to have good game sense and mechanical skills to play at the level he does already, but you're forced to counter swap a fuck ton on tank so you also get familiar with a lot of characters and how they interact with others. Ideally you should be anyway, but it's not surprising for a tank player specifically. After that point it just comes down to mechanical skill for execution, which he obviously has.

Since I am not usually one to read the patch notes super closely, I didn't realize Zen had 225 hp now. I have really felt that when I try and get a healer pick early in the fight playing dps or on the chance I get to take shots at them when playing tank. I totally feel that though where He seems to live on like 1 hp all the time. Granted I am in a lower elo as well, so that might also have a larger influence as well

I agree with putting the ult charge to 0 but I do think that swapping should be in quickplay. They shouldn't just roll over and let you win. I also know a lot of players (including myself in some matchups) who may be able to regurgitate what the counterswap is but still need experience actually executing it and/or understanding why it's a good matchup. I've seen so many people ask what the swap is, I tell them, they try it for one push, and then swap back into their comfort zone for a loss. If they can't manage it in quickplay, they're going to be even worse in competitive.

probably a bad idea but forcing players to pick a hero and stick through the whole round or just to the next spawn points would make counterswapping much less of an issue (even if it does create more problems in the process)

Playing Quicker play on Colosseo and we won the opening fight while I was on Ball. Immediate counterswap to Sombra. I'm on literally the worst hero in the game and it's **QuickER** play, and they still **INSTA** swapped after a single lost fight.

As long as I remember in qp, there has always been a counter swap. Yes, this is not a ranking. Blah blah blah. But why do you all forget that losing is very unpleasant? Why do you all consider this a warm-up? Or an arcade? I'll just remind you. Sucking is not fun. And you felt it in a Junker Queen game. People still want to win. Especially when you lose 15 times in a row. And I've had it happen before. And it doesn't matter that it's without a rank. Defeat feels like defeat. And playing against your counter is not fun at all.

You know, core part of the game. I understand the complaint about full on five stacks basically playing comp in QP, but if people swap organically because they don’t have fun playing against your character of choice, then what? Is your fun more important than theirs? To me the only fix to this is doing what Blizzard promised at the start of OW 2: make counters less „hard“. They actually seemed to have pushed the game in the opposite direction though…

Ok, I'm gonna go there. I don't think counter swapping is so much an issue it's when the counter to your hero is so low skill floor that its just free value. For example, I used to main ball and if someone swapped tracer I'd be down to take that 1 v 1 and if the tracer was decent fair play to them i get shredded. If they go sombra and just hide invis in there team lurking like they're trying to get a restraining order that feels terrible. I've had so many games where the enemy team has a dps who's clearly struggling and that dps just swaps to counter the tank. So often that swap is low skill floor. Bastion if I'm Rein, Sym if I'm DVA, Reaper if I'm Monke and the dreaded Sombra for basically everthing else. I think the biggest issues with OW are damage boosts, easy to hit CC and low skill floor heros being meta. When we have a playoffs world cup meta where Bastion is as viable as Soujourn there is something seriously, fundamentally wrong with the balance teams design phiosophy. Your's sincerely, a sad tank main who no longer plays his main.

Not only the counter swaps but you get penalized for leaving qp, so qp is literally comp to without ranks bc you leave you get punished especially if you have bad Wi-Fi like me and get kicked all the time🥲
