I consider myself a beginnger in Spanish, but I think by listening to everything in context, I learned more in this 19 minute video than any of my Spanish classes, the only difference being I'm probably not going to remember this all. But I could pick out words I knew and could understand the tense. Really cool!

That story was really interesting, but I can't but think that she was kind of stupid or at least naive. Moving to another country without knowing the language, having a job or a place to stay? I'd never do that.

I did that exact thing last year. I moved from Australia to Ecuador without knowing the language or having a job and a place to stay for only a couple of days. It was the best thing I ever did. I have now learnt another language, and am doing a job I would never have thought about doing in my own country!!!!
