Dupe For Estee Lauder Double Wear? | Primark My Perfect Colour Foundation

Hey Guys!
In this video I am testing out Penneys or Primark's P.S. My Perfect Colour Foundation versus Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation.

Hey everyone 😙 Just wanted to pop on and remind you all that I KNOW this foundation is too dark/yellow for me personally - I just wanted to try it out and compare the two side by side and I only had the one colour. Chasing Ruby Chat I thought so too, they are so similar at the end! I needed to apply the Penneys version differently in order to achieve it but if you had the extra time to apply it the same way I did - it works out at such a bargain!

Really hoping this is as good as they say. For me it’s important to note that Primark/Penney’s make up is cruelty free. Unfortunately, Estée Lauder is not!! 1-0 to Penney’s!!

Emma Low Wet N Wild is a really great cruelty free brand! I love their coverall foundation 😍 it is only like €3.50 or something very reasonable under a fiver!

I just tried the penny's foundation the other day. It was nice but didn't hold up as well as I wanted on my oily skin. Always wanted to try double wear as it's so raved about . Would have loved to see you do a wear test of both comparing them. They look so similar! Love foundation dupes so would definitely be interested in more videos 💕😚

i find that the foundation is too orange compared to your skin but put by her I think you're very beautiful and your video is great

Hi Marie, thank you for the compliment :) I know, there was a very limited shade range when I bought it and no testers - I would normally wear a much lighter shade. Unless I have fake tan on maybe - but even so, I don't like this colour X

I bought primark matt, i liked it but i dont have spots or blemishes plus i am a darker skin tone being asian. Therefore i did not need a lot of product for coversge. I felt it gave me good coverage compared to boots number 7 and was more pigmented.

Looks the exact same colour wise! But again, if you're using nearly 3 times the amount of foundation for good coverage with the penneys dupe, I'm not sure how cost effective that'll be in the long run 😂

Genevieve Isabella I know! It's still only €18 if you multiply it by 3 which is less than half of Double Wear.. It's a tough call to make 🙈 Its a huge saving but time consuming all the same

I was waiting for a review for this foundation because I was flabbergasted , I really think this is a perfect dupe for the double wear. I love full coverage and it stayed all day. Most foundation I use (with primer and translucent powder) leave my face in a couple of hours this one doesn’t. Sorry for the bad grammar I’m Dutch.

Ailish Beauty Addict Not as good as Penneys and a bit trickier to use if you prep lips with foundation as it can catch and start to ball up, but once you cleanse your lips first they are gorgeous x

For £5/€6 you can put ten layers on and still not be out of pocket compared to the Estee Lauder. Having said that Doublewear doesn't agree with my skin so maybe the dupe wouldn't either

Eleanor Hi Eleanor, I agree! It still works out way cheaper and if you have the time and patience, you can absolutely get the same result and finish for WAY cheaper. Personally, in my everyday life, I am under too much time pressure to have time to blend extra layers of foundation (I am usually up at 5.30am for work 😭😭😭😭) BUT If I wasn't, I would totally choose this one! It looks exactly the same with extra time put in to it and it is a BARGAIN 🎉

Courtney Fitzpatrick Hey Courtney! I probably wouldn't recommend this for dry skin - but they do HAVE a different version in Penneys for Dry Skin! I have no idea how that on performs but I am 100% sure it is more moisturising and is in the same bottle (it will say on the front which one is which) xx

There is a subtle difference between the 2. The right side definitely looks fresh. The Primark one is too yellow even after finish.

Thanks Sarah for the compliment 😘 I am a makeup teacher by trade, so even putting this vid up was going against everything I preach to students about colour matching 😂 I do say at 3.26 that it is way off and V yellow.. But, it was only to try it out and compare it 🤷‍♂️ I didn't keep it on X
