Cool idea, did compare it to the original to see how well it worked? Maybe you could have the bitting codes sent to you so you could code cut one to compare

Very cool. I wonder if the 1st plastic white key would have worked if pressed"firmly" because it clearly picked up or sensed the key. A really impressive experiment. 🔐🤯

Ended up taking it to Lowe's and getting it made by someone with a gray machine

Would be nice to know if the copied key worked (or if the plastic key works for that matter).

I wish we had such machin in France, we pay more than double (6€) and wait at least 5 times longer.

Why do you think you needed to use a metal key?
@CapNem4 жыл бұрын
The old kiosk didn’t detect it-it likely uses a form of infrared sensor and did not pick up the plastic as it is not as lustrous as most metal keys

@@CapNem so zinc or chrome spraypaint could have done the trick?

@@xephael3485 That’s my theory at least yeah-in fact I plan on giving it a shot sometime soon 🤔

@@CapNemwell it's been two years...have you done it yet?

@Chevroletcelebrity I didn't try, the kiosk got taken out of the store :( I wonder if metallic nailpolish would work

If you can print the key , why do you need to cut one?
@Chevroletcelebrity Жыл бұрын
So you have one that's not made of plastic genius 🙄
