Nice seeing this ride. I live in Hendersonville and ride the route you're riding at least once a week. It's my favorite route. Enjoy!

Awesome video! Ridgeline is such a fun trail. Easily the flowiest trail ive ever ridden

Thanks! I wish we would have started off on that trail. We ended a pretty big loop with it and my legs were turning to jello by the time we got to it 🫠

Thanks for this. You ride a bit like I do. Except I ride a gravel bike. I haven't been to DuPont yet but this encouraged me to make it happen. Now if only I can make it happen before it gets freezing cold.

Do you have a Strava route that you can post?

strava.app.link/zTGcFpFeREb Thanks so much!! This was a big loop recommended to us if you’ve already seen Big Rock! It ends at Ridgeline which might be the longest flow trail I’ve ever ridden. It’s insane and is smooth enough to probably do on a gravel bike.

This is what I’m looking for. Never been to DuPont I’m going and was looking for a great ride that included Ridgeline.

Wanna hear a funny story? I mountain biked and road biked when I was young in NJ (1990 ish). Got into BMX, ramp stuff/freestyle, in my 20's and I got quite good. Moved to San Diego in 2000 where I continued to bike (Beach Cruiser, BMX, some Mountain Biking). Moved to Asheville a year ago and I still rode my bike, mostly for cardio. I didn't realize how amazing the biking was in this area and I recently purchased my first mountain bike in 15 years. I still consider myself in top physical shape for biking and I'm excited to continue my bike obsession here in Western NC! Ya know what they say? "It's like riding a bike". Good video!

Thank you. You hit the jackpot of trails my friend!! I am super jealous. We are from Ohio and don’t have anything nearly as awesome as Pisgah…

So How long was the climb (time/miles) and did you guys just ride ridgeline? Also, how long was the downhill (time/miles) so total ride would have been? Looks awesome and i want to come try it.

There wasn’t many cars in the parking lot but we were there on a Tuesday afternoon. I have seen that place packed on the weekend. We did a larger loop that included ridgeline. I tried getting on Strava to get you those specifics time and miles. I def remember the climb to do ridgeline not being bad at all. It literally felt like a 20 min downhill!

one more thing, how was parking? did it matter what time you got to the trail parking lot?

Ridgeline is a blast. Nothing beats ending the day with a beer at the hub.

I feel like you could hit warp speed on ridgeline with a gravel bike!
