a tremendous video, excellent job of explaining the mentality behind the execution. Or your Madness to your Method. In the simplest of terms even my inner child can easily grasp. I thank you forthe additional time and effort you put into this video to convey the logic behind the passion for the hobby.

That was a "Master Class" you just taught; we should get three college credits because you just took us to school!! I totally agree with the upgraded plastic arms and metal steering knuckles. I appreciate the way you explained how weight impacts the driving experience. Personally, I like a 6s vehicle with a metal chassis for street racing and bashing. Senton 6s is my smallest vehicle and my largest is the Kraton XL and Mojave. Well done sir!!!!

I am a noobie with my Pro4-SC10. I haven't quite mastered using the throttle to land on all 4 wheels. Naturally after a few trips to the skate park I went into "Full Send!" mode, and it landed on the nose from 20 feet up. Driver Error. When I rebuilt the bumper I found that Associated has 2 'L' shaped plastic 'springs' between the bumper and the bulkhead that broke. Essentially those L links are a sacrificial part to prevent idiots like me from destroying the front diff. I think that's good durability engineering.

I wish I found this earlier. I’ve been researching and researching and researching after buying my first used RC, and the algorithm never showed me this video. I only found out because of a comment on a forum. All I could find were videos made for people who already know all the ins and outs.

@@AJJAMStudios One month later and I'm still frustrated as hell. I don't think I've taken my Kraton out twice in a row without something breaking, and the learning curve is steep. Oh well, that means more views for your channel.

Good stuff. I had a kraton that would chew the ring gear up no matter what I did ..I would go crazy rebuilding shimming ect , but bulkhead ultimately will flex after a certain point . New bulkhead and t2t brace , I also ran LP backflips moving forward with the kraton . I Eventually bent chassis and used the parts to build a swb arrma. I have a exb now that needs 2 diffs I did get a decent amount of time before.having stripping except for the initial problem from the factory. I also have a brand new exb ktaton I haven't ran . I do love the kraton but that truck with stock tires is pushing the limits imo all other arrma builds they down size the wheels or brought the axles in . I run the typhon nearly everyday and those are the straight cut gears , but I have really good luck far as longevity . You right they run the thinner diff fluids so guys don't strip the gears , not just for tuning

Thank you for all the info.you sir are so very helpful for new guys like me.could you do a video on steering? ...I bought a new losi db pro.very tight no play steering,3 batteries later its sloppy and I can't get it to tighten back up..( plastic stretching🤷♂️?)..maybe a lesson sir? God bless..
@AJJAMStudios2 жыл бұрын
Your RC will have a break in period where things loosen up. Depending upon the amount of slop you get, the loosening is normal. Huge slop is not, but let me ask you this, is the car controllable? If it is I wouldn't worry over much about it unless it tracks funny or wanders. If it is wandering then it might be the servo saver loosening up. Check the tension on the servo saver spring to see if it allows slop too easily. It should allow slippage but not slop. I hope this helps.😎👍

Hi my name is Rance I have a 3s Arma granite and I'm having an issue. It has four times as much punch and speed in Reverse then it does going forward. Can you help me I have no idea what it could be?
@AJJAMStudios2 жыл бұрын
First off, thanks for asking. And secondly, swap two of the leads to the motor. There are three wires going to the motor from the speed control, trade two of them, no matter if they are color coded or not just trade two of them, that will reverse the direction of the motor and should solve the issue. The motor is simply connected backwards. Swapping the leads on the motor is not an issue and won't hurt anything in the car it will just reverse the direction of rotation. Give that a try and let me know how it works for you. AJ

Awesome main points. I always go for light as possible balancing power to rate ratio. Also making a car that is light, you don’t want to add 30 lbs. so I am very calculated with my cars. It took me years to figure that out. Bigger isn’t always better. All your Info is on point💯 thanks again Uncle AJ!!!

I used to have a losi XXX MT Sport (I think it was called) that was nitro. I sold it after driving under a parked car and the heat sink pinned it under the oil pan 🤦🏻♂️ and it was stuck! I pulled it out and noticed leaking fuel, cracked the crank case on the block. I wish I kept that truck

A fair and informative video. My only minor criticism being the lack of balance in the final section. If you're going to flag up the irresponsible driving of some users (which is absolutely fair to do) then it'd be equally fair and correct to also highlight some of the irresponsible marketing of the products whereby some outlandish claims are made in relation to durability. The likes of Arrma and Corally seem to be the worst for doing so.

First off love your videos and thanks again for the help you’ve given me in the past! But watching this video where you were talking about using the exb chassis and parts instead of the higher quality ones like M2C due to weight reminded me of a video I watched a week or so ago. I think you should check it out because as I totally understand the cost difference apparently the weight difference is very insignificant. kzbin.info/www/bejne/faLIYomwiZtggMk
@AJJAMStudios2 жыл бұрын
I did see that video. Reminder: we used the EXB parts to save not only weight, but money as well. The attempt is to make things affordable for everyone and still tougher than stock. Thanks for the comment 😎👍
@StoneFPV-2 жыл бұрын
@@AJJAMStudios yep I totally understand that part of it and have done it myself. I was just surprised that all the M2C stuff didn’t any noticeable weight.
