Duramax Swapped Crew Cab Square Body Review

Today on 200 Degrees I drive my friends 1979 Crew Cab Dually Long Box LBZ NV4500 swapped Square Body Chevrolet truck. And if that title sounds long, don't worry so is the truck! But it is a blast to drive and so impressive how much work Dustin put into making this thing drive as well as it does!

Haha I’ve very slowly started collecting parts. So far I have the injection pump for the OM606. Now all I need is the truck/engine/transmission 🤣 it’s basically finished right? It’s coming along though, I’m just being picky on my truck choice

This '79 Chevy Silverado still runs great, but it needs a good paint coat on the bodywork to look renewed. Too much rusty even on hood cap

For best towing and mileage is why, and it’s cool. But I recently rented a gm uhaul with the new 6.6 gas and I was blown away, good Power, good mileage great torque. It was a great engine!

It would get better milage but make alot less torque and be less efficient overall a truck this big should have a diesel in it

That must be powerful with that conversion but those big rims are hideous should've stayed with the original 16inch and put stainless steel wheel covers on it they would look a whole lot better than those ghetto rims they suck.
