Ha ha!… I’m sorry I needed this notification. This was challenging for me even though I played Keys in the Band when MIDI just had come out. I today would like to go back and Re-Mix it with my knowledge that I’ve have since I did this. ( and I’m sure I’ll say the same thing 10 yrs from now 😜) I hear Detail and all these nuances in a mix/ Song. Always have as a child. If I were to MUTE curtain Track you would says!… something A missing … can’t put my finger on it? That what I hear my whole life. I thought everyone did the same. ☺️🤔. Ok, doing yard work right now. I’ll get back to you when I go into STUDIO Today. I believe for the Orch parts there were like 6-7 Layers of ROLAND FANTOM,… & others I have all the Tones, Presets Labeled. 👍☺️🎚🎧🎹🎤George Amodei 👍 OK in STUDIO rn. Opening Hit was with LOGIC PRO X ( DMD: down lifter, pile driver, landing Ibiza, 2-noise downer Drop Kick ). @ BAR 2 where the Synths come in were ROLAND FANTOM 7 (7 LAYERS). All were recorded at same game stage level, then mixed in DAW. I see I use 2 VST’s also which were AUTURIA’s Fairlight on 1 Track, ( called Orch2), Roland -SC -88 ORCH HIT) on Track 2. Trk 3 was on FANTOM 7 Z-Core PR-B Orch Hit #422 FX. Trk 4: FANTOM 7, Orch Hit “ IMPACT” FX low. ( pannned Hard LFT.) Trk 5 FTM > Orch HIT “ IMPACT HIGH” FX High. ( Panned Hard RT). Trk 6: FANTOM >x-Core PR-E #255 Ensemble Brass ( Panned Hard RT) Trk 7: Same as Trak 6 but Panned Center) but in DAW ALL WERE GATED after the Reverb on AUX TRKS. At Bar ~19/20 only Trk 2,6 & another Horn Track is entering Mix. Same Horns but different VB & imaging I’m using. I also using White NOISE throughout all the “ Hit” ducked in low. Also @ Bar ~20 using the Stuttering effect by slicing the File up w/ Flanger. It’s very complex & really hard to describe in a text. These presets, Patches and Tones could always be bounced out to an audio file, and brought in and sampled in your phantom, and you could place it anywhere on your keyboard to play them if play live. My project size was 107 Track. that’s including all the boxes and sub groups/submasters. I almost needed to do a tutorial with my screen and project open discussing everything I did, so yeah you and others can see. Hope that helped a little bit. George Amodei

Thank you Joe, I had fun doing this one. In the 80’s I thought I was Nick Rhodes when I was in a Band but couldn’t afford all the equipment that the Pros had at 17 years old. Yeah, Thank you, I was fun to try to recreate these Tones since Nick Rhodes I believed did the from the FAIRLIGHT ( Sampler ) I did this using 80% my new ROLAND FANTOM-7 plus using VST ( Software Instruments via MIDI ) into my DAW. The ORCH HITS were a combination of Orch Strings & Brass’s Horns of course ( about 8-10 Layers ) with Automation on the Stack Tracks or I may have put them on their own Bus and did Additional processing their. It was a challenge. At the End I pick the wrong Bass Gtr. Track ... the other one was more John Taylor ( I MUTED the wrong Bass when I was ready to MASTER ) I hear it here in my Studio the way I wanted it but it’s too late, on KZbin allready. 😜George

Lol, yeah Stefan, I believe I used the wrong Pre-Master for _MASTERING then did the quick Vid. I believe it was Pre-Master #5 that I like on the Bass. ( I Rec. the Bass two way ... same waveform but I had two separate Amps one finger plucked and the other with the 1/8 Note Delay, Amped & EQ’d for that Edger Gritty Bite but after it was up on KZbin and people were commenting/ texting me saying good job on the Keys I just had to let it go. Damn, awesome job. Killer vocals. A word of advice, my opinion if I was mixing this, I would lower the orchestra hits a little more and make your vocals louder. Your vocals are spot on, people like good singing

That is pretty good but the voice is to soft and sound like you used some pitch program to tune your voice or something . On some parts you sound like you're slipping .

If you read further I mention that KZbin DEGRADES some on my Songs by putting Artifacts on the Mix (probably because it has a COPYRIGHT CLAIM)?🤔

@@GeorgeAmodei21 I listened again on my small Akai the voice is not on front and need a little more gain compression and mids adjust . This should sound a lot better when mixed right .An avantone would help especially to check in mono but those small systems like the Akai I mentioned are the real bargain .If the mix have power on those small systems when it is tested on different rooms means it is spot on .Don't trust most studio monitors until it sounds good on different normal systems .I know for a fact that most studio monitors are just a big scam ...
