@@darealdarknathan during the events of Metal Gear Solid 3, Naked Snake gains the title of Big Boss for completing his mission of killing The Boss, but he rejects it because The Boss was his mentor and he feels that it is in poor taste, then in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, he begins using the name again after building up a loyal PMC in Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, his PMC is sold out and he gets in a helicopter crash, this is where Metal Gear Solid V begins "Big Boss" wakes up from a 9 year coma, but in the end of the game (the first cutscene you see playing in this video, with the cassette tape) it's revealed that Big Boss was active the whole time, in the shadows, and that the person you played as was the medic on the helicopter with facial reconstruction surgery and psychotherapy to make him believe he was Big Boss so, Venom Snake (the protagonist of MGSV) is literally me because he could be literally anyone
