You're right about the Queen mix-up. But Yasmin is in fact a Persian name and her father is Persian. The name is pronounced Yasmeen. In middle eastern names and words the letter i does not have a short sound as in "igloo", but rather is has an "ee" sound and this is true for many middle eastern languages including hebrew, arabic and farsi.

Hey, lots of people love Andy. One of my friends was literally obsessed with Andy! Most of my friends liked John the most. For others it was Simon (me too.) But I liked Simon, John, and Nick the most. Lots of people always love the lead guitarist in any band, but Simon was so in your face, so magnetic (you just had to fixate on him) I was sad when they got new members, b/c it's felt a little different. But I eventually I accepted it/them. So now I embrace all the people who have been in the band. DD FOREVER! 🌟

I think that you have mixed Duran Duran’s Rodger Taylor with the one from Queen. In 1979 DD had just started playing and they made their first album in 1981, so I doubt that he bought a 6 million house in 1979. And how would he have 200 million when the more popular and longer in the band John Taylor only are worth 30 million. So much in Rodger’s post was from the wrong Rodger Taylor.
