My teenage anthem. Helped me through hardest time in my life. Parents’ nasty divorce. School failure and finally high school dropout. New stepdads and stepmoms. Duran Duran always were the shelter for my life. Too bad when I grew up and worked for the concert promoter in my country who held DD concert and the boss assigned me to interview them I just freaked out. I was too scared to face my idols and risked shattering my teenage dream. Coward me. The worst mistake in my life. Remember everyone, do not repeat my mistake. Take a chance in your life. Live the life fearlessly.

But I see so many comments, all of which I identify with, that say DD helped them through difficult times in their lives, particularly in their youth. I am sure that music has a great influence on you in your youth as you are so impressionable, but DD have transcended generations now they should be proud of their spirit lifting music and influence on bands and artists well into the 21st century

U2 and duran duran are my fave bands, duran Duran lost fame after live aid, they were the best band of the world between 81-85, u2 came with their best at late 80s and early 90s, duran duran here is the year 1984 and they had no competence
