Wow another gem this goes right back to their roots, Duran at their best with Andy working the guitar shows just how good they and Andy are.

This is the first ever LIVE performance of "Tel Aviv". Wow, I never thought that they'd ever play this in front of a live audience. Literally the last song off their debut album.

Wow -- Andy Taylor is incredible here. It's like the guitar is talking. Love it!
@cinsationalcinema17763 жыл бұрын
It’s definitely singing sweet melodic riffs to the crowd. When Andy busts out into that seductive solo I feel like I’m in a trance. Slowly swaying side to side like a cobra 🐍 dancing its best Axl Rose moves. This vide causes sugar coated ears, cuz it’s some of the best ear candy on KZbin. Total gem 💎

Never listened to "Tel Aviv" before, and didn't know DD played an Astronaut Tour date with an orchestra. This is a historic footage!! And Andy Taylor let us know why some of us still consider him "the DD guitarist" no matter Warren had an awesome stint

Otra joya instrumental de DD, nunca la había escuchado en vivo, simplemente fabuloso, la guitarra de Andy como protagonista es lo que siempre más amé de este tema. ¡Infinitas gracias!

Nick Rhodes as a kid, wanted to do some instrumentals, they said in a early interview, it was a 'thing' for him, ffs sake, i say, thank you Nick, and your synt, thank you for these masterpieces! and for the lads to go along and help you play it as you have vision them

Fantastic synth-strings by Nick on this. The portamento work is astounding! I always thought the only way they could have pulled this off was with an electric violin, but I was wrong! Nick is Synth God!

This shows that they are all superb musicians. What a waste Andy's not in the band anymore, but hearing this and listening to the songs they play nowadays I do understand why. There's room for a bassgod like John Taylor is, there was not enough room for the skills of Andy Taylor.
@Rosco19733 жыл бұрын
One of the most underrated instrumentals, it's utter class and binds that beautiful mystic sound of the middle east so perfectly with the guitar. It's almost 007 Bond stlyed for me and possibly should of been used in film at the time.

Thanks for uploading this. Have never seen them perform this live in the 30 odd years of being a fan. Would like to think they'll perform it again at shows, instead of Tiger,Tiger.
@annthorpe841110 жыл бұрын
Shouldn't think they'll do this one again, especially now that Andy Taylor is out of the band (again!). Apart from the superb string arrangement, Andy was always the star of this track with lovely e-bow work. Btw, can anybody tell me just what Nick Rhodes is actually doing here if not pressing a few buttons on his Apple Mac ?
