people with talent, ACTUAL SINGING TALENT, is a bit of a tough sell. People just prefer disney bop and mumble rap. Standards are low. I do wish we have the same amount of voice quality we had back in the 80's and 90's. everyone is just a damn singer

because music is commercial... its not based on talent. its based on the wrong elements.... I can answer your question clearer... if you give people PURE drugs that would be nice BUT dealers figured out that if they CUT the drugs to stretch it.... they can make a larger PROFIT. So why give PURE music when you can water it down and double and triple your money? so the answer is the fault of the consumer... the user. Why? because USERS will accept the watered down version of the drug vs the pure cut.... so real talent is over looked for artists who will sign contracts that dont favor the artist.... why would a record label spend 100k when they can spend 40k and get double their money? We know there is some awesome signed talent.... but REAL talent is living next door to you... they will NEVER get a contract.... why? because the music is pure and uncut. Mainstream = Popular.... garbage is popular. All of the GREAT vocalists are gone.... so consumers settle for artists who dont really have pure talent. That answers your question completely.... Im a music producer who plays all my instruments, I sing all the vocals lead and background and I have a library of hundreds of songs but no one knows my name.... I keep my music pure. Listen to the music of today... its filled with LUST, SIN, PROFANITY, GREED, SELF CONCEIT, ADULTERY, PRIDE, HOMOSEXUALITY, AND VIOLENCE.... and thats the R&B songs. If talent like THIS was to be signed... labels would NOT be able to put out garbage anymore... understand?
