Durango, Colorado to Molas Pass: Yamaha FJR1300 Sport-Touring Motorcycle Excursion Up Highway 550

"Million Dollar Highway" Heading North on Highway 550 we begin to ride our Motorcycles up one of the finest stretches of road in the U.S.A. Scenic Mountain Peaks, Valleys, Rivers, and Curvy Roads make this an ideal Sport-Touring Heaven. ....or whatever other motorcycle you bring, you can't go wrong. This is also the beginning of what is known as the San Juan Skyway that circles West back towards Dolores/Mesa Verde Area and back East into Durango from Highway 160.

Definitely, an epic motorcycle ride. The "million dollar highway" is by far my favorite overall road to ride on. Scenery and curves. This was my third time and it was honestly the best yet, as there was oddly very little traffic this last labor day weekend, when I made that run.

If all goes well. We will be headed for the San Clemente/Dana Point, Ca. area next month. Waiting to see if our Washington State, House Sells. I am soooo excited!!! We stayed there for only two days, two years ago and have wanted to go back since then and spend a few more days exploring.

I like the way most bike riders will move over and let you get around. I ALWAYS do that and even motion for you to come around (in my lane). Plenty of room. Not so Harley people.

...and thanks for watching, Rider! The next video I release is an update, but I spent a lot of time on editing. I would really like your feedback when it drops. Not sure if it is too, "busy" or not. It is my favorite ride of all time, so I tried to make it as interesting as possible. Pretty hard, because I am not that interesting of a person, but the ride itself is amazing!
