Absolutely love the San Juan Mts. and hope to someday take the train from Durango to Silverton. Thank you for the great video. Appreciate the names of places along the way.

I rode that route when I was four or five years old and I still remember it. (I'm 57 now.). I didn't have the greatest childhood, but that was definitely one of the good times. Thanks so much for sharing! With all the development that has occurred over the years, it's great to see the unmarred beauty of the route still the same.

That’s awesome! I remember riding the Georgetown Look as a child with my family and have great memories from that!

What a spectacular trip! I actually saved this place on my google map a while ago. The big curve, climbing the hill and breathtaking scenery are so attractive. Let alone the price of drinks in the snack bar, not surprisingly high.

accent = ascent? cool stuff!

Oops, I should have proofread more. I was more concerned with windy vs winding. I had windy and it didn’t look right so I changed it. I didn’t even look at accent, ascent. Shoot!
