FYI - David Blatt retired coaching in 2019 because of a medical condition (severe MS). Since then, he has been working as an executive and consultant for several European and national teams. So yeah, you're not going to see him as a coach in the NBA anytime soon (or ever). Nonetheless, he is a brilliant, highly regarded basketball mind, whose career was derailed by health issues rather than by his coaching acumen. To that point, I have nothing against Nick Wright. But speaking as someone who's been following the US sports media (debate shows in particular) for the better part of 20 years, I'm very disappointed with level of ignorance/disinterest that most commentators express towards *everything* that's happening outside the USA. If you insist on commenting about something - the least you could do, is do some fact-checking on...oh, I don't know...Wikipedia?
