Sir what is the need of iterator while listiterator is there. Both came in 1.2 java version and everything that iterator can do listiterator also can do.

Hi Vishal, as Durga sir explained iterator is universal cursor where as listiterator is meant only for list interface.

Hi Vishal, as Durga sir explained using ListIterator we can move in both forward and backward direction( bidirectional cursor) which cannot be done in iterator(single direction cursor). And there is an extra feature in ListIterator which is replacement of new object other than read and remove operation.
