Please check the input and output .After n value is zero,why the function iterating among print(n) and return res at the end for 5 times ? def fac(n): print("value:",n) if n==0: res=1 else: res=n*fac(n-1) print(n) return res res=fac(5) print("The fac is:{}".format(res)) _____________________________________________________________ Output:during every iteration as below: Loaded '__main__' Loaded 'runpy' value: 5 value: 4 value: 3 value: 2 value: 1 value: 0 0 1 2 3 4 5 The fac is:120 The thread 'MainThread' (0x1) has exited with code 0 (0x0).
