The Rosebank Oil and Gas field, situated west of the Shetland isles in Scotland, will become the largest in the UK when it starts production in 2026/27.
The Government's decision to approve its development has proven controversial, especially among younger voters. PalTV's Richard Griffiths spoke to demonstrators at a recent protest against the Rosebank held in Durham's Market Square.
Richard also spoke with Anna Firth, a Conservative MP who backs the Government's decision to approve Rosebank.
In this special report, PalTV examines both sides of this debate, and explores more generally whether the Government's climate policy is alienating young voters in the run-up to the next general election.
