Durian Hooi: Durian D2 榴莲 D2 (Ep.25)

Introduce Durian D2 in Penang. This durian is originated from Ayer Molek, Malacca. The original name is "Dato Nina".
介绍在槟城的榴莲D2，此榴莲源自Ayer Molek，马六甲，原名为“Dato Nina”。
D2 has registered with Department of Agriculture in Year 1934. D2 famous with its heavy taste, small seeds and carrying a special wine aroma that have attracted a lot of the durian lovers. The colour is very attractive as well. The best D2 has dark orange reddish. You will never forget it after having one time.
D2在1934年已在农业局注册，D2以味道浓郁、小核还带有一股特别的酒味吸引了许多老饕的喜爱。它的颜色也特别吸引，顶级的D2深橙红色带黑，吃过一次就无法忘怀。
D2 has a nickname "Dream Lover" at Southern Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore . The meaning is you are hardly forget D2 even in a dream also missing it.
D2在南马和新加坡也被命名为“梦中情人”，意思就是难以忘怀，梦中也思念着它。
The husk of the D2 is very thin. The husk is easily to break if hit the hard ground. The flesh will become mushy as well. Also, the center of the husk is very adhesive. D2 is very difficult to open. If you have a curve shape D2, the husk will break at the middle during the opening process. Then, you have to think some ways to dig or take out the balanced flesh.
D2的壳很薄，一敲到硬地就裂壳了，果肉也会糜烂。还有它特别黏心，是非常难开的榴莲，一般弯形的D2开到一半就断了，还要费尽九牛二虎之力把剩下的果肉想办法弄出来。
D2 was popular during 80-an to early 90-an. Penang D2 are mainly from Paya Terubong and Relau areas. However, the D2 tree is low production. It cannot compete in the economy effect. D2 has slowly faced out. Generally, many trees are grafted with Black Thorn and Musang King nowadays. It is very difficult to have a super good D2 now.
D2曾经在80年代到90年代初红极一时，槟城很多D2都来自垄尾和湖内地区。但此树产量低，也敌不过经济效应，慢慢地被淘汰，一般都改接黑刺和猫山王，现在已经很难找到特别好的D2。

终于轮到D2了，我喜爱的其中一个榴莲品种。D2品质非常不稳定，好吃的真的非常好吃。D2也叫梦中情人，谁还没吃到好吃的D2，就是说他还没寻到他的梦中情人😂。

俺男人常在榴莲视频说道，要开D2和竹脚榴莲，要动用到斧头的，有人不相信。D2在马六甲和森美兰，雪州一带曾经是红牌。不过现在已经很少人要种植D2了，最大的缺点是它的产量低，品质也不稳定。优点是耐存放，2，3天果肉包也不会生水。

Dulu ada sebatang pokok durian D2 di Bukit Katil, Melaka. Usia 45 tahun. Tapi kini dah mati. Tanam cara kampung yakni tak diberi baja. Semusim ada sekitar 40 biji. Rasanya mantap. Tapi kalah dgn D197 Raja Kunyit( musang king) dan Tekka old tree.

对，以前的D2很红的，很多蛀核，很难找了。特地穿这件衣服和以前的颜色差不多一样，你也是其中一个知道的。😀就像现在的猫山王和以前的不一样。
