This is me and my roommate! She barely turns off the light for the first few months of staying together. I took it upon myself to be doing that. Reminding her once in a while. More recently, she does it without any reminder and one night as her turned them off, I passed a silly comment and she said she knows I don't like leaving the lights on that's why she started turning them off too. Teaching can be effective by doing too.

I love the two of them, the friendship and banter and comebacks and all that. Then the prayer thingy; these back and forth are real oh. I have learnt to obey and start the prayer when I'm asked to, after the prayer, my partner takes over and concludes... I think this has improved our prayer lives.

Happened in the first month of our marriage. That’s how we didn’t pray that day and for a while even. It was a big deal then. Now I’m just laughing seeing it in this scene. Nothing is truly that deep in marriage. Carry it on your chest at your own peril. I’m learning that really hard. Just take the lead and don’t find the urge to always want to be right.
