They use a painter to paint what he sees. Did the movie explain why they didn’t just use a camera?
@emmanuelroyhipe81815 ай бұрын
Camera are heavy and are not in good quality at that time. Also you need to stand still in order to be taken clearly because cameras at that time had the high aperture and slow shutter speed, capturing moving things like monster will end up into motion blur. Tru Paintings, the painter can put fine details about the monster.
@Dire_Pack5 ай бұрын
its 1945 and paintings are easier to get/burn/explain and cover up than pictures. there is no "Oh its photoshop", because back then that wasn't even a thing. if someone finds the paintings and doesn't know the context they'd just think it's a random man's horror painting and leave, unlike a photo which can't be explained past "uhhh... its a costume!" or some shit

On the medical findingsss, there will be diff opinions. In the context of the end justifying the means, sure (maybe). But they werent even humane about it. People were cut without anesthesia. And babies died for us to know that if we cut their limbs, they will die of blood loss. I question the intent - knowledge or torture? Net, war is ugly. No one wins.
