This series of videos has been a revelation for me as it has opened up vistas for my future exploration. It has also laid on all of us a responsibility to master the so-called 'Achhop ragas' so that they remain in vogue and are not lost to posterity for good. My heartfelt thankfulness to Dr. Rajshekhar Mansur and all the other esteemed participants and I sincerely hope that their efforts will help inspire many a budding artiste to learn these not-so-popular ragas and make it their mission to popularise them for they are the beautiful creations of past masters and form an integral part of our musical heritage.
