If there are high surface finish requirements when press brake/edge bending, the Swedish product Tribotextil™ can be applied in the pressing/bending tool and mechanically protect the sheet metal from scratches and other damages. Tribotextil™ is an extremely thin and very strong textile that in this process replaces lubricants in the tool.

Great press, need to know how calibrate Y1 & Y2

I’m a service technician for Australia’s durma dealer There’s a few ways to calibrate them If they are not bending same angle from side to side find out by how many degrees one side is out ie 3 degrees work out what three degrees is in mm movement be about 1-2mm then go into parameters and find the index point y1 y2 then adjust either side accordingly

If they are bending same but not on target use corrections If waaay over or under folding get a piece of .5/.6 set machine to fold 180 degrees adjust y1/y2 index point in parameter until 180 fold basically pinches the material then returns back up with out leaving and crease machine should fold allot closer to target now 👍
