Hi, if I remember correctly there is s tourist info point in Zabljak (Turistička organizacija [phone] maps.app.goo.gl/vFJZU2pLyEzinPTi6). It was closed in autumn when we visited but I think it must be open during the summer season. We stayed in Zabljak for 3 days while exploring the national park, visiting Black Lake and Durmitor Ring with a car. But if you have more time it's worth doing more exploration (including to the Bobotov Kuk peak and Mala Crns Gora settlement). Anyway good luck and enjoy Durmitor!! 😀😀

Thanks! 😀 To be honest, we didn't rent a car since we had our own.. but I reckon you can rent a car in the capital Podgorica or maybe at the airport, even at airports in neighboring countries (just be sure to choose one that you can bring cross border to Montenegro).. as for price, I'd say max 30 euro/day during high season for a small car, or maybe half of that during off season.. Anyway good luck with your trip planning! 😀😀

I had a question to ask please if possible,does Kotor and Zabljack have many stray dogs? Im worried about going there this month because of that? Thank you so much

Hi there.. as far as we can remember there were not so many stray dogs, but we remember seeing quite some stray cats though, especially in Kotor.. If we may ask, are you worried of the dogs being aggressive? 😅 fortunately so far we've never encountered dogs attacking us, only barking at us 😅

Hey, we went in October. It was quite chilly but there was still no snow. In May I reckon it will be quite pleasant already and most hiking trails accessible, certainly the lake and curevac viewpoint, but the peaks might still be too snowy.
