There is a slider bar in the settings, that lets you adjust your maximum camera zoom out. Set the slider all the way to the far side and then you just zoom out with your mouse wheel.

u get really good at it if u practice the maze in LFR than doing it on normal i dont think the maze changes in lfr from normal so its a great practice i always go to the lightning area before the maze and that makes me determine where it starts

another good strategy to kill this boss is to bring 1 tank 3 healers and 6 dps, but to be able to do it you need to have 2 palading in raid and use hand on protection to clean the stack on the tank. This will provide a big dps increase because you will have exta dps and the tank will also do a lot of dps

Killed this fight on wednesday. For the laser phase, the outside maze is set and easy to follow. Just don't place your purple puddles on the outside if you do run on the outside.

you really should have said "we will see you next time" over "catch you next time" would have fit better with boss theme, but still a really nice guide

That shadow maze wiped us twice because lots of people took the ranged path, and yet the openings were on the very very edge of the platform and partially off the edge, so there wasn't enough room to maneuver through it. It was impossible. So fair warning-- that can happen! Try to take the melee path.

The boss can't move, thus only need one tank, if you have a paladin tank or another paladin with clemency, he can despell the mortal strike type debuff by divine shield or hand of protection. And make melee dps in medium range. In colorblind mode, the dmg receive debuff caused by beams is not very important in normal mode, pop some healing or defence CD would do. Make tank stand in yellow or blue, range dps in yellow, healers in blue, and melee dps in red for quick dispatch mob.

Actually, both my guild and I had no problem finding the opening: that's easy. The hard part is navigating the maze before the beam hits you.

Hey guys, u do an amazing job, if your videos are out in time it reduces the time we need to prepare for the boss by a huge amount (just watch your video instead of read 3 or more guides and still have to figure out how to do the boss); it helps a lot if my people start to cry "we are doing something wrong", i can just say they have to train more and we dont have to waste time to test their stupid ideas; there is just 1 problem, your guides dont offer german subtitel, u know any solution?

Anyone else getting major latency issues on this boss. During our raid we lost all of our people at least once to D/C. Other than that there are some weird deaths from the maze. Like dieing from the actual beam when in front of other people. The first few pulls were really fun, until the BS began.

While 10-man is arguably easier overall, this boss does really make no difference (Pre-nerf of maze, that is.) since it's a mechanic and a lot of individual responsibility, which some players can't handle 10 man or not.

Constant wipes sucks... gotta scrape your knees before you learn how to walk. Watching this video is certainly helpful, but I am NOT a fan of that purple maze of death.
