I’m a black American male. I never felt welcome when I was in Brazil. I was thought to be a Black Brazilian…people looked at me as if I was a criminal or poor. It was very interesting. I learned a lot.

Most part of the Black population in Brazil is poor, so being associated with a criminal or poor stayng rigth here is not about u, is not personal, is the reality of the country all black ppl that live here or come from another countries always has to deal with that and with a lot of other negative stereothypes connected to us; Brazil is a very racist country, Sorry that u went througth that rigth here;

@@dabaraalfa6084 ….. obrigado. Eu aprendei muito. I was able to see how life is for many Black Brazilians in Brazil. I will carry this knowledge with me forever, and be sensitive to the plight of Black Brazilians there.
