What is your number 1 rose scent of all time? I love warm, spicy oriental fragrances and truthfully, I find it hard to find perfumes these days that blow my mind. That stands out in the crowd or leave me speechless. I love your reviews, just subscribed, looking forward to learning more about your insights into the perfume world.

I picked up my bottle in 2019 85 bucks off and 2 travel atomizer thrown in, not a horrible deal , but I've yet to wear it in public, I'm not sure if the opening funk goes away, or it's still there and I've gone nose blind.
@RamseytheRam Жыл бұрын
I think after a few hours it goes away... asked someone to smell it recently who thought it was a totally different perfume once it hits the deep drydown

Lucky to have gotten a new bottle from someone in the community for 230 - which was worth it to me. However, my girlfriend smelled it and immediately said it smells like new leather hiking shoes from ARI...and now I can't get that out of my head :D

Most challenging frag that I’ve ever tried but something about it just pulls me in. I have 2.5ml tester decant and this friday I’m gonna rock it (gonna be outside on cold so I won’t be a walking Chernobyl). As much as I like the smell of Oudh Infini I would never commit to a full bottle because I don’t know where I would wear this.

Finafuckinglly someone agrees with me...Oudh Infini is far from an oud centric fragrance. Still one of my fave animalic fragrances of all time , glad to have a full bottle along with Issara. Btw anyone's who's interested in buying a brand new full bottle FragNet has em for the low , comes out to about 300 after tax.

Thought about it. Seen it. Never heard of it before today . What do you get from it ? What notes stick out to you? I don’t wear much green and just got my Les ABSTRAITS samples. I’m gravitating to the rose & Green scent currently ( Des Cendres, La Douleur Exquise) but I was mostly excited about Belle AME the most.

Hello, Ramsey! Great review 👌 Love how you tell imaginary stories. I haven’t unboxed the bottle of Oudh Infini yet which I bought in spring 2023. I have also 6 samples of it (15ml total) and I’m wearing it from these samples. For my nose it’s one of the most challenging fragrances I have ever smelled. One day I really like it, one day I don’t want even smell it 😂 It’s more challenging for me than, for example, Beauty and the Beast, The History of Indian Oud…

☆Nice one, intriguing appraisal with the animalic habitat and the large sensual Rome descending, and I do appreciate the work in building a description! I think it's very relatable, the idea of being struck by an initially overwhelming animalic presence. I remember dating someone, and upon entering the house, it smelled like a skunky-catpiss. But, as the evening went on and intimacies proceeded, the perfume worn by the other, rose-like as well, overtook the awareness of the funk. Oh it was definitely still funky, but in an odd way made the musky rose more beautiful than if smelled without that counterpunch, and moreover background presence of the animalics. The silver stream, in that situation made me think back to how the antique gray wooden floorboards would ocassionally jump in, lending a presence. Is this the secret of animalics inclusion in fragrances? Mmm, if not then why not? Luv this idea, makes me curious to get nose on some of the more animalic perfumes. Thanks Ramsey! And cheers to the other Ram-Frag-Fam out there♡☆

I have a sample of Oud Infini and it's probably one of the most challenging fragrances I have tried. I love an animalic fragrance but this one is unwearable for me. On a sidenote, I am visiting London next month and have ordered a full bottle of Hasu-no-Hana from Les Senteurs (I bought a sample during my last visit). I plan to try others from Grossmith. It's difficult to get this house shipped internationally for some reason.

I just came from a very hilarious video of two guys smelling Oudh Infini and gagging over and over during the whole video. Then I came here and you are so serious and thinking that Oud Infini is good. LOL. That just shows that "different strokes for different folks" is a true saying. I am sure it would not be for me. I am turned off by some of the animalics in Guerlain fragrances and I know they are light weights compared to Oud.

Lol just reading the comments hahaha ,the wrinkle ass picture definition 😂. I bought a bottle couple of months ago after sniffing only a 1 ml sample a couple of years ago and to be honest on first wear I totally thought my new bottle had turned ,however maybe it’s the fact that back then I was a newbie to ouds and was fascinated with The Lao barnyard facet and didn’t get the top animalic melange out of it ,and now many ouds later it hit my nose like a freight train hahaha,anyways I am happy with my stinky bottle whether it is ,either my nose is more in tune,or it’s actually been reformed of indeed has kinda turned ?? But it settles down after a bit and yes I do agree that at the settled point Oud Palou definitely peeks it’s head .cheers Rams have a great and safe weekend ✌️🙏👍

Oudh infini is one of the most disgusting fragrances that I have ever put my nose on. #2 is Oud 27 by le labo, they have the same synthetic civet which is literally nauseating. A good laotian oud has actually nothing to do with this scent profile. Bortnikoff’s Lao oud, Ajmal shams special edition, and Rabia al Omr are great examples of this genre.
