Having the cute patterns actually makes wearing the mask a whole lot cooler than your typical ones. The elastic band hooks onto the ears. You can adjust the strap so it can fit petite adults. They are mashine washable. They do come with a carbon filter to insert in the cloth to block out the pollutants.
