MTQ I hated dungeons before I found your guides and a fellow player helped me set up my mechanics in a way easy for me to remember. You make things so simple and concise, your thoughts and opinions on the simplicity or difficulty of any given dungeon really help calm my nerves. If you think it's difficult it is likely it will be challenging to me, likewise, if you think there is nothing special to worry about that usually signify it's a pretty easy dungeon. I still use your guides the most even years after you posted them. Thanks for all your hard work.♥

Hey MTQ. Always love your guides and I wanted to point something out with the second boss. The adds will buff the boss, so there's the option of having the DPS take care of the adds and the tank moving away from the adds instead of grabbing them all. This way the boss will never get the buffs from them. The adds themselves do negligible damage so DPS can handle them easily without the tank grabbing them. I found that more effective then stacking everything for that fight. To conclude, so no one gets the wrong idea in the land of YT comments. I'm not saying all this to say your method is wrong, just another option I discovered after running DV several times. Keep up with the guides! :)

I've literally had people flaming me for not picking up the adds because they've watched this video and think they know it all. I understand it would take a lot to amend the video but at the very least an annotation is needed.

@@CKainn helps with healing/dps anxiety too! don't wanna be "that guy" that failed the mechanic nd potentially caused a wipe. i always search these dungeon guides before going in, nd sometimes again during the dungeon just cuz her voice is so soothing. relieves some of the anxiety

Mizzteq, on the first boss, I found out that you actually are supposed to share the Damage. When the boss targets a player, another player should run over to share the damage to prevent the massive damage he could give. When he is about to charge at the stunned players, if another person were to stand in front of the stunned players (preferably the tank) then damage could be drastically avoided or minimized. Hope this helps! :D

You missed a move for Opinicus "Winds of Winter" room wide aoe with stacking wind resistance down. Can also be LOS with the pillars.

A lot of people give this dungeon heat, but I like it. Most of the mechanics might be pretty tame but It's got an interesting final boss and I like the music and aesthetic a lot.

You can also LoS the boss for the big room-wide wind attack that gives you a wind debuff.

I'd just like to point out that on the second boss, when the adds spawn they do an AOE, which will buff the boss with either a "haste" or a damage up - if the boss is in the aoe that they do...

Leaf - Senpai also on the last boss, he does i think "winds of winter" which you have to LOS the boss or you'll get a wind stack and take damage...

During the final boss, if you start the wind gaol attack at the very edge of the platform and continually run towards it, you can avoid being dragged into the center. There are times where this comes in handy (eg you'd lose LoS as a bard/machinist and still want to do damage). Not recommendable, because of the constant small stuns of being moved, but doable.

if u have a decent healer the second boss can easily be burn through without killing adds if it gets too overwhelming just have ur ranged dps lb

The stun can be avoided on the first boss if you have a Paladin to cast Cover on the targeted party member. Probably not a required mechanic for the fight but it is helpful if you have a Paladin or are one so feel free to throw those out when you can.

For the second boss I think it's best to let the dps handle the adds. They will cast a buff on the boss if he's in range of them.

I.. did not even notice the pillars for the final fight. Luckily I'm a BLM so all I had to do to avoid the debuff with pop sprint and run like hell away from the center. This is still good info to have though XD

Kinda wish XIV streamers waited a bit or took their time with the guides, as this isn't the only guide video I've seen that misses some things here and there. Mind you, the dungeon is still pretty easy but c'mon guys, we could wait maybe another day for you to fine-tune your guides.
